Belgian Red is a tapestry of flavor. This beer is brewed with whole Montmorency Cherries, Wisconsin farmed wheat and Belgian roasted barleys, lagered in oak tanks and balanced by Hallertau hops we aged in our brewery one full year. Over a pound of Door County Cherries in every bottle makes this beer uniquely Wisconsin. So unique, in fact, that we applied for a patent. Expect this beer to be ruby red, with a medium body that is highly carbonated and intense with cherry flavor and bouquet.

Bottle trade from shigadeyo. Poured hazy reddish brown color an average fizzy off-white head that mostly diminished with fair lacing. Heavy dark cherry fruit aroma. Medium body with soft carbonation. Solid complex dark fruity flavor with a medium bittersweet finish of moderate duration. Standout drinkable fruit beer.

Bottled, sampled at The Cotteridge Convention, many thanks to Beersiveknown for this one. Hazy reddish amber with slight head. Sweet cherries from the off in this one, cherryade then a hint of sourness. Next to no subtlety around this. Too over the top for my taste.

Bottle - Sweet maraschino cherries. Cloudy red/brown with a decent white head. Lots of sweet cherry, but has something odd later that cuts the cloying sweetness a little. Sweet and nice but a dessert beer for sure.

UPDATED: AUG 4, 2003 Bright red, cloudy with small off-white head. Aroma is cherry, sweet with a hint of sourness. Taste is sweet up top, and sour cherry mid-tongue. Medium/full body. Somehow it avoids the cherry soda experience and gives you something wonderful.

[9/5/09] Bottle sample during LCRBM at Kulminator in Antwerp. Dark murky red-brown. Aroma of sweet cherries, sugar and some marzipan notes. Sweet cherries flavor with oak, some malt, caramel, other dark fruits notes and some candies. Medium to full body. Silky. 8/4/7/4/15=3.8

Keg at Sour & Bitter 2012. It pours hazy deep red, with a thin off-white head. The nose is sweet cherry, artificial notes, cherry tunes (the sweet), marzipan and almond. The taste is sweet cherry, residual syrupy sweetness, hint of tangy lime, cherry tunes and gummy bears, with a dry finish. Medium body, average carbonation and slightly sticky mouth-feel. I was hoping for a bit more tartness. Far too sweet. Tastes a lot like a commercial Belgian kriek.

Red cherry coloured ale with a nice rose head. Wild cherry aroma, like cheesecake, with cinnamon notes. Sweet cherry pie or cherry covered cheesecake, cinnamon, lactic acid notes. Deep cherryish body, rich, smooth, with nice acidity. A wonderful cherry pie. Tasted at Instituts gambrinale, Outaouais, Oct. 28 2005. Bought from Restant du Mondial.

Deep amber with a small off-white head. Strong sweet cherry aroma with marzipan, malt, caramel, and a hint of sugar. Very sweet cherry flavour with a faint tart note. Perfumed marzipan/cherry a bit cloying.

Bottle as shown. Pours a clear red with a small off pink head. The aroma is cherry fruit. Thin mouthfeel with a syrupy cherry flavor and sweet finish. A very impressive fruit beer.

Bottle courtesy of Ughsmash. Poured into a flute. Cherry red with a medium and fast dissipating head. Aroma is strong candied cherry with a background of yeast. As others have said, this is like drinking a cherry pie. Flavor is intense. Definitely a sipping beer. Very nice.
