UPDATED: NOV 13, 2011 Sampled at Hellbilly’s Hellraiser courtesy of Hellbilly via Bockyhorsey!!! "I can not tell a lie," this was like George Washington placing his right hand on the trunk and left hand on the branches of a cherry tree...and ringing it out like a towel just above my glass. INCREDIBLE!!! Pours a soft red with small rose foam. Washington cherry blossoms and freshly baked pie tease the nose. The flavor combines buttery flaky crust, sweet ripened fruit, and cherry tartness. This beer is distinguished, legendary, and should be celebrated!!! BUMP!!! hellbilly (3306) - scottsdale über alles, Arizona, USA - APR 26, 2008
UPDATED: JUL 25, 2011 bottle by way of footy... red pour with brown tints. thin pink head does not stick around. this smells exactly like fresh baked cherry pie... aromas of cherries, pie crust, butter, vanilla and a bit of woodiness. the palate is sweet for sure but definitely worth it. the flavor is cherry pie again... ridiculous. smooth creamy mouth feel. body borders full...10/4/9/4/18/4.5

bottle from the baconator aka thecheeseman... woohoo! a whole bottle to myself! opaque mahogany brown with a small nutty white head. this smells like i imagine an open field full of goats grazing on herbs and grass in the clean air in south of france smells... that dream mixes with tart cherries (almost brined?), wood, grass, herbs, earth, cinnamon and cream. it’s sweet on the palate but at no time is it cloying. very rich flavors or the aroma along with cooked cherries, vanilla, graham cracker/maltiness and a beautiful fruity tartness. spicy finish really helps to clean it up. full body leaves a smooth buttery film on my teeth. spice and tartness/acidity keep it real...10/4/10/5/19/4.8...
Wow...how do you describe perfection? This pours a cloudy red-brown. Maybe a 1 finger head. Aroma is all cherries. Take a taste and you are attacked by pure cherry bliss. docswife (27) - Morganfield, Kentucky, USA - MAY 14, 2008
What a great beer to drink as my first official RB beer. It pours a cloudy ruby red with a small off white head. The heavenly aroma of sweet-tart cherries and a touch of vanilla draw me into the glass. The flavor is very well balanced. Mildly sweet with just the right amount of tartness and a smooth finish. No artificial cherry taste here. Overall a fantastic beer. beerwolf77 (42) - Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA - JUL 9, 2009
This is an outstanding beer. So sweet and easy to drink. Full with cherry flavor.

750 mL bottle from Timer’s Beverage in Racine (purchased September 2007). Dark red pour with a small amount of carbonation. Sweet and sour cherry aroma. Wonderful tart cherry taste. Nothing but great things to say about this beer. For me, it’s perfect in every way. TheWife (20) - Tampa, Florida, USA - MAR 25, 2010
I’ve had sips of many, many highly rated and coveted beers from my husband’s glass. I decided to rate this beer first because it is hands-down my favorite beer and fully deserving of a perfect 5.0.
Aroma: seriously, how many cherries are in this to create that delicious bouquet?
Appearance: red, red, red, enough said.
Taste: Is there a limit to the number of times I write delicious?
Palate: Fizzy, yet oh so smooth.
Overall: Yep, it’s perfect. SanfordBrewer (1610) - Sanford, Florida, USA - APR 21, 2010
lucent mahogany, no head, med-effervescence, med-high co2 but fine bubbles, full body.MirImage (11) - Texas, USA - JUN 15, 2010
aroma: very cherry (dark and sweet, like homemade pie filling).
taste: very cherry, very smooth.
not an every week beer, but a must have once in a while beer. it’s hard to tell what the base beer is like, as it is just so buried in cherry flavor. slightly cloying after half a bottle, needs dessert or cheese and some friends (mine loved it, and said "how can this be beer?").
Served: Bottled poured into a Champagne Flute
Aroma: Sweet and Fruit, cherry pie filling
Appearance: Solid red in color, transparent. Head is a light pink. Looks like a red Champagne.
Taste: Medium to heavy on the sweetness, which isn’t bad in moderation. A bit of a sour fruit taste that hits the back of the tongue.
Palate: Light body with very fizzy carbonation.
Great beer for special occasions. A welcome replacement for Champagne. sbanach (222) - Alabama, USA - SEP 30, 2010
This one gets a 100% All across the board. On tap at the oktoberfest celebration at the brewery. Tested a sampler and brought back 2 bottles. The smell is of a fresh, cherry field farm. Its hard to tell the grains that were used for this. A pound of cherries are used in each bottle. The appearance is a dark ruby color. Very sweet and tastes like cherry juice. Highly carbonated and heavy lace built up around the edges. A great after dinner drink or to share with your girlfriend in celebration. We bought the gift set and can’t wait to try out our new champagne glasses from the brewery..
