Even non-beer drinkers LOVE this beer. It is the best $8 Christmas or birthday present you can buy! dcschiller (2211) - Scottsdale, Arizona, USA - MAR 26, 2011
UPDATED: MAR 27, 2011 (750ml bottle courtesy of Alpar!). Pours hazy red juice color with minimal head. Aroma of maraschino cherries. Taste is sweet. Medium bodied with a luscious, ripe fruit finish. Man, this is a delicious beer. This is the holy grail of fruit beers. bluesandbarbq (33) - Oak Ridge, Tennessee, USA - MAY 16, 2011
Courtesy of pfoxyjohn - the New Glarus man!
Pours a deep reddish hazy color with a thin head but lots of lacing. Some carbonation. Aroma is of sweet, tart cherries and berries and some malts. Taste is overwhelmingly cherries, but I love cherries, so this is fantastic. Another winner from New Glarus. Thoroughly enjoyable. My favorite beer - period. Chel (33) - Wisconsin, USA - MAY 28, 2011
fruity cherry and oak aroma, red, minimal head, white foam, clear, sparkling, light sweetness, medium dryness, tastes of dry cherry with underlying smoky oak and aged hops flavors. Hard to conceive of a better fruit based beer. SPDickerman (1315) - Texas, USA - DEC 25, 2011
Pours red with small pink fizz. Smells strongly of cherries. Tastes like sweet and tart cherries. Medium-bodied with a sticky texture and lots of mouth-carbonation, New Glarus Wisconsin Belgian Red finishes with a strong, natural cherry flavor.

Utterly delicious and perfect example of its style. Perfect blending of the cherry with the beer, far superior than the cherry stout by new glarus. Lighter red orange coloring with short head. dreamflower (793) - Steinbach, Manitoba, CANADA - MAY 26, 2012
I loved it. Beautiful red colour. Tempting sweet cherry aroma. Refreshing palate. Delicious cherry taste. This was exquisite! jason1970 (143) - Illinois, USA - SEP 28, 2012
I’m not sure what more I can say about Belgian Red that hasn’t already been said. Fir what it is, it’s perfection. Gorgeous ruby red color with some slight fizzy head. The aroma is intoxicating sour cherry and some hops. I love the way this ale tastes. The sour and sweet cherries are incredible. This one is a real treat. jhp40219 (449) - Louisville, Kentucky, USA - OCT 17, 2012
Pours a dark red with a reddish tan head. Aroma is absolutey mouth watering cherries, malt, and hints of milk chocolate. Taste is fresh cherries, sweet tart candy, milk chocolate and malt. Perfectly balanced palate. Thick, creamy, low carbonation, and a sweet candy like finish. I never thought I’d find a better beer than New Glarus’ Cherry Stout. I was wrong! This is the absolute top of the line! There is no better as far as I am concerned! CardsPackHawks (173) - South Elgin, Illinois, USA - NOV 17, 2012
Best fruit beer available! A must buy when in Wisconsin. Really wish New Glarus would sell outside of the state. Door County cherries and beer, a perfect match.
