Belgian Red is a tapestry of flavor. This beer is brewed with whole Montmorency Cherries, Wisconsin farmed wheat and Belgian roasted barleys, lagered in oak tanks and balanced by Hallertau hops we aged in our brewery one full year. Over a pound of Door County Cherries in every bottle makes this beer uniquely Wisconsin. So unique, in fact, that we applied for a patent. Expect this beer to be ruby red, with a medium body that is highly carbonated and intense with cherry flavor and bouquet.

A little too cherry-ish for me, although I can see the quality that went into this brew. Nice. I hear the brewery has a nice tour worth taking. Somewhat tart and a scary color.

Bottle thanks to the Duke. Pours dark red, with pinkish white head. Aroma is super sweet processed cherry perserves, more cherries. Flavor is sweet syrupy cherry, cherry creamsicle / pie, candied fruit. Craziness!

Bottle. Taste of sweet cherry. Super smooth. Big body. Raspberry candy. Like a long boil of Boon Kriek. Very elegant.

Pours cloudy burgundy with low pink head. Aroma of liquored cherries, almond icing, red berries, bretta. Taste is initial berry sweet followed by cherry tart and then a lingering sweet finish. Light and crisp body with average carbonation.

Dr. Pepper beer, but much better than the soda. Lots of juicy, ripe and tart cherries, some fizz, long lingering finish. Great for the ABV. Great way to top off a great start to the year.

Bottle. Thanks Jon. Beautiful aroma of cherry fruitiness, spice and pastry. Taste is perfect, loads of cherry, pastry, lovely stuff. Rich but easy drinking. Great.

Deep red purple color. Intense fresh cherries in the nose, not in away that any other beer can do it. The balance of sweet, tart and spice in the nose is amazing. Medium full body. So much cherries, so well rounded, like eating and drinking the most flavorful cherries you have ever had in your life. Just perfectly executed.

UPDATED: FEB 18, 2017 Thanks Virby44 for the bottle! Poured into the wineglass showing dark vinous wine red with white foam lacing. The nose shows strongly sweet maraschino cherries like jolly rancher candies. The palate is light bodied and highly carbonated. Strongly forward cherries throughout with a light wheat/malty backbone. Light tartness with a slight acidity balances out the entire beer. Nothing like it. Amazing.

Appearance: Pours a dark, crimson red with 1 finger head & lots of carbonation. Not bad. Smell: Sour cherry notes with slight sweetness. Nice smelling aroma. Taste: Sourness hits me straight on. Sour cherry with a dry, wood-like quality. Mouthfeel: Heavily carbonated but sourness unrelenting. I would have liked some more sweetness to balance it out.

Bottle at RBGT. Pours cloudy ruby. Aroma is superinfused cherries, almost artificial and candy-like. Very sweet, but still medium body, with a refreshing sourness kicking in later. A bit sticky. Sweet palate, with cherries throughout. A bit less would be nicer, though.

I prefer the raspberry tart one this because the flavor is a bit more intense, but dang, these things do not disappoint. Tons of flavor, EXTREMELY long lasting finish. Quite complex too. Yet very drinkable
