Belgian Red is a tapestry of flavor. This beer is brewed with whole Montmorency Cherries, Wisconsin farmed wheat and Belgian roasted barleys, lagered in oak tanks and balanced by Hallertau hops we aged in our brewery one full year. Over a pound of Door County Cherries in every bottle makes this beer uniquely “Wisconsin.” So unique, in fact, that we applied for a patent. Expect this beer to be ruby red, with a medium body that is highly carbonated and intense with cherry flavor and bouquet.

"Top of the food chain in the realm of fruit beers, this bottle did more than impress. Cherries are the main attraction and they are showcased to the best of their potential. Lively appearance with a beautiful read body, tight carbonation and a fizzy amber tinted tan head as well as some spotty lacing. Cherries, vanilla and dry wheat abound in a fruit forward treat. Great for relaxing with after a wonderful day, extremely approachable and unique in every way. Well played New Glarus."

Bottle shared. Clear slighly amberish ruby red with a light beige head. Huge fruit notes, cherry, cherry syrup, cherry pits, tons of sugar and what seems like artificial sweetner. While the fruit character is very nicely present in the beer, overall it feels quite artificial because of the excessive sweetness. A bit like a cheap sweetened kriek.

Sweet and sour. Strong hit of cherries. A hint of bread. Murky orange brown with an off white head that leaves a little bit of lacing and a thin ring around the surface. Sweet but with a hint of sour and a lightly tart finish. Smooth like hard candy. Lots of cherry. A hint of earth and a hint of sweet citrus. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pours a brown tinted ruby red with a small off white head and good lacing. Strong cherry licorice aroma and cherry skin. Taste has fresh bing cherry and some sweetness with a mild tartness. Some cherry skin. Flavor is big and tasty. Medium bodied with medium/high carbonation. Very good fresh cherry with more perceived sweetness than actual sweetness. The tartness helps to balance it nicely. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle from Krista in Wisconsin. Talk Garnet reddish-brown with lasting ring and a little lace. Ripe cherry and Woody Aroma with hints of floral and caramel. Very sweet ripe cherry with some toasted caramel and brown sugar sweetness. Woody finished with a touch of tart dryness and lingering Sweet Cherry and brown sugar slightly sticky with fine internal carbonation. Very good but too sweet for my taste. Would probably go well with Rich chocolate cake.

Bottle; pours dark red with a reddish brown head; aroma of homemade cherry pie; taste is sweet and very much like cherry pie; finish is dry, with some lingering cherry; the cherry aroma and flavor is dominant but balanced and not overpowering or artificial; best fruit beer I have had to date

Backlog, ocena przepisana z untappd, w ramach uzupełniania profilu na ratebeer. Totalnie nie mój klimat. Słodki kompot wiśniowy, mdły i jednowymiarowy.
