Bottle. Pours a clear golden yellow with a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has a good amount of bread and grain with a slight sweetness supporting. Flavor is similar with a nice sweet grain, some bread and a bit of earthiness.

From notes on 6/13/15 On tap at the beautiful New Glarus brewery. Love the aroma of this beer. Reminds me of that smell during brew day. So much delicious malt aroma. Taste is heavy on the malt too. Just a good solid beer.

12 oz. bottle from Homer321 via Frank - thanks, bros! Pours a clear gold with a finger of white head that settles into a ring and an island of film, leaving some spots throughout the glass. Great big German character pops out of the glass, with straw, crackery and cereal malts, grassy and slightly spicy Bavarian hops. Light-bodied, with low to moderate carbonation and a clean but malty mouthfeel. Simple and good. Glad to finally have tried this long-time want.
