COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Straight from the tanks, unfiltered, this bier has undergone its third and final fermentation in the bottle in order to insure you the freshest possible lager bier. Expect this bier to be smooth, full-bodied, and slightly cloudy. The brewer’s yeast imparts a mild, fresh character which is as close as you can get to brewery fresh.

Slightly hazy golden color with a full light head. Light floral aroma. Quick full in body and mouthfeel. Flavors are quite mild. Slight malt, hops bitterness and a touch of pure yeast. A decent effort but nothing extraordinary.

UPDATED: MAR 7, 2004 I was at first skeptical of this one due to the description on the side of the bottle. But after tasting it I would recommend it to anyone. It has a nice orange hue with a touch of cloudiness, with a slightly more full taste than mosty lagers.

A decent, mildly hopped lager. Refreshing, but could be a bit sweeter......

Orange color with a good smell. Tasted all right but I have had better New Glarus.

Hazy gold color; Head was thick and then was gone; Aroma of yeast and straw. Grassy and eyasty right away on the tongue. A bit of interesting ginger on the middle of the tongue. Very quaffable. Thanks to TannerTavern and TRAP!

I had this beer with pizza, so it was perfect!. This has a much fuller taste than I expected from a lager. It has a nice lingering malty finish that is a little sweet.

UPDATED: SEP 7, 2006 Hazy straw. Fluffy white foam. The mouthfeel is soft and round. It has a doughy, yeasty character and restrained carbonation. Lager fans will enjoy the deep strawlike malt and floral hops.

Could be the best 'straight' American-style lager I've had, from a brewer that makes one of the best Am. bocks. Gorgeous bronze color with a more-than-adequate head; a nose that is what 'lager' is all about, very beery and fresh with some slight fruit hints, and wonderful malty flavor with just enough hops for me, though others may think it weak in this department (for the style). Finish could have more guts; too smooth even for smooth-beer-guy Muzzlehatch. Still, another winner from this fine fine Wisconsin brewer.

It smells faintly of bannanas, but don't let that put you off. This is a rich, malty and somewhat spicey beer which is great with lighter food.
