3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
On tap at the brewpub. Pours reddish brown with a modest off-white head and a toasty aroma. There is a fruity smoked malt flavor with balancing hop bitterness. Fun to drink.
Sampled at GABF 2015. In the tasting glass amber with an off white cap of foam. Nose of rich malts. Medium in body. Flavor is more malts that hops but over all very tasty. Lightly bitter malty finish. Tastes pretty good. slowrunner77 (12801) - Reno, Nevada, USA - MAY 5, 2015
not very ipa like anymore. not slightly maltier than Thunderbeast (an average or so ipa)...more red than IPA. where’s the hops? not a terrible beer, but definitely not what I like in this style. boring. baraciisch (3362) - California, USA - SEP 5, 2014
Reddish brown in color... Aroma if caramel, toffee, light fruity hops... Fairly caramel forward, some bitter notes on finish, ok at best

On tap at Flaming Grill Cafe, nice red color, big caramel taste, kills the bitterness slightly.
