FROTHINGSLOSH (8291) - GREENSBURG, Pennsylvania, USA - JAN 17, 2018
Sampled on draft this beer poured an orange-brown color with a large foamy orange-tan head that left excellent lacing. The aroma was sweet and tangy with caramel, alcohol and fruit. The flavor was sweet and tangy with toasted caramel, dark fruits and alcohol. Long finish. Moderately full bodied. Solid.

Bottle. Roasted malt aroma with notes of chocolate, honey and some nutty character. Pours deep brown with a thin, but retentive mocha brown head that also has some lacing. Starts with roasted malt and honey flavors with some chocolate sweetness as well. Finishes very smooth and a bit dry with more roasted malt and honey with a little bit of nutty flavors. Really nice porter.

Bottle at Uptown. Pours a dark brown color with a small beige head. A nice nose of roast and chocolate. Sweet, licorice, lots of chocolates, some anise, honey and earthy in the finish. Very smooth. I like it.

12 oz bottle. Pours a bark brown with moderate head. Aromas of dry roasted malts, nuts, and a bit of sugar. Flavors of same lifted by sweet creamy honey. Nice.

Bottle. Honey, molasses, chocolate malt, and hay aroma. Black with moderate tan head. Very sweet molasses, chocolate malt, and mildly bitter hay flavor. Nice body and balance. Pleasant.

b3shine (9259) - Indiana, USA - DEC 13, 2017
Draft to taster at The Pint Room. Looks solid; a semi-transparent dark copperish brown with light beige head. Smells malty with notes of chocolate alongside a touch of lager yeast and a hint of toast. Tastes like it smells with a mildly warming medium to medium full-bodied mouthfeel. Enjoyable.

Roast and caramel. Black pour with decent head and lacing. A little booze. Dark chocolate. Bittersweet finish. Creamy consistency like melted ice cream. Bottle.

Taste: rich, semi sweet, deep roasted dark chocolate malts, hint of honey, smooth finish. Nice semi smoked dark malt and baker's cocoa nose. Black, opaque for the most part, with a tan refined head and ringed lace on glass. Full but not heavy body. This toasty porter went well with my burger.

On tap at Llewellyn's. It poured a dark brown color with a tan head. The aroma was of chocolate, roast and honey. The taste was similar to the aroma with more chocolate, roast, honey, dark fruits with medium carbonation and a semi-sweet aftertaste. Not bad.
