Bottle - 2014 edition. Pours clear burgundy, quite beautiful actually, small tan head that dissipates quickly with some residual lacing. Aroma is oaky, vinous and fruity with tart cherry notes. Flavor is quite fruity up front, perhaps blueberry, oaky, starts lightly sweet but quickly dries out to a medium tartness. Finish is tart with light oaky astringency. Medium body. Nice beer, but I must say it is better before it warms up, oddly enough. peteinSD (1468) - San Diego, California, USA - MAR 23, 2014
’14 bottle from Sean - thanks! Deep red, rust colored pour with a scattered slick of off-whote foam. Vinegary tart, oak, red wine, and clean sour in the aroma. Taste is heavy tart up front with vinegar a bit of sweet malt in the middle and more sharp tartness through the finish. Clean mouthfeel. Bit rough but a decent enough sour. Oak barrel aroma and quiet taste throughout...moderately tart... Nothing overpowering... It's like a flat grape soda aged in an oak barrel.... Sooo

I had this at Global Brew. Pours reddish brown with a off white head. Taste tart, cherry, Brett. I thought this was good. I would drink this again.

Tap at Michigan Winter Beer Festival - 22-Feb-2014. Big brett flavor here. Sourness really kicks. Fruity and wonderful.

On tap. Gave me a pint of it for some reason. Supposed to come in a 12 oz. Oh well. Pours reddish brown with very little head. Aroma of funk, oak, light fruits. Lightly sour. Flavor is oak, light fruitiness, and a little tartness. Might be a gateway drug to sours for other people. ryanfolty (2655) - Bourbon County, Minnesota, USA - FEB 26, 2014
February 26, 2014 - on tap at Valley. Amber pour with some head. Aroma was woody, funky and fruity. Taste was nicely balanced with a woody finish. Nsanders (1190) - St Paul, Minnesota, USA - FEB 23, 2014
Tap at Happy Gnome. Red orange with a thin white ring around the perimeter of the glass. Tart cherries, oak and vanilla. This is a puckeringly sour beer. Lighter body with a sour acidity that clings to the teeth. The bourbon notes were good, but almost too sour. shrubber85 (11709) - Greenville, Indiana, USA - FEB 23, 2014
Draft. Vinegar and berry malt aroma. Amber with moderate head. Sweet-tart vinegar, berry, and wheat malt flavor. Nice body and blending. Very good. Leighton (22820) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - FEB 18, 2014
Draft at Thirsty Monk during RBWG 2014 - Asheville. Pours clear, deep gold with a creamy, white head. Citric lemon aroma. Light sweet flavor with punchy tartness, lactic twang, tart lemons. Medium bodied with fine to average carbonation. Good tart berry finish with lingering lactic funk. Not bad.
