Tap. Medium Brown Amber. Lasting Light tan head. Drippy lace. Aroma is sour, fruity (maybe I was imagining it but I got blueberry - and in flavor as well). Sour, tart, funky. Soft carbonation. Pleasant finish.

Draft. Hazy maroon color, medium off white head. Aroma of sour berries, vanilla. Taste has softly sour stone fruit, vanilla. Dry and dusty finish. Nice stuff.

A new arrival at Churchkey, this was a 750 ml bottle shared with Nahem and company, as well as a DC couple next to me who did not reciprocate :-(( A clear blueish brown color (I’m not kidding, I’ve never seen a beer this color). Aroma of sour grapefruit and unidentifiable dark fruits. Taste is cranberry, slightly bitter, slightly sour (lacto), with a bitter blueberry finish. Very nice.

Draft. This is one of the best tasting sours I've had. Tastes if some chocolate candy at first than finishes nice and tart. Lovely beer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Smells great...promises a tart candy/cherry/apple flavor. Deep amber/brown color but lacking head. It’s dry as shit. It’s got a bit of a carbonic bite to it, that somewhat resembles some type of spice.

NikkTwist (3341) - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA - OCT 12, 2013
Draft at Khyber Pass. Dark cherry pour. Mostly clear candy-apple color against candlelight. Fizzy/foamy off-white head. Not a lot of aroma. Pleasant sour with a lot of barrel tannins. Currant jelly. Strawberry-Rhubarb. Sweet and sour sauce. Leather. Wild blueberries. Dried leaves. Quite tart and very astringent. Great unusual sour!

Bottle. Poured a clear ruby color with an average frothy white head that mostly lasted with excellent lacing. Moderate to heavy sour, cherry and wood aroma. Medium to full body with a sticky texture and soft carbonation. Medium to heavy sour & sweet flavor with a medium to heavy sweet & sour finish of moderate to long duration. This is a standout beer.

Pours a nice ruby/brown color with a lingering white head, minimal lacing. Aroma is dominated by sour fruit, not picking up any oak or malt aromas. Tatse, like the aroma, is strong with tart fruits, apples, cherries, and pear notes with a slightly oakish finish. Pretty good offering, nice sour funk here.

Aroma is fruit, malts, slight mustiness and a hint of blueberries. The flavor is malts, fruit, mild sweetness and a very long and tart blueberry finish. Normally don’t care for blueberry ales due to blandness, this one was actually pretty good.

Draft. Vinegar and berry malt aroma. Amber with moderate head. Sweet-tart vinegar, berry, and wheat malt flavor. Nice body and blending. Very good.

Bottle - 2014 edition. Pours clear burgundy, quite beautiful actually, small tan head that dissipates quickly with some residual lacing. Aroma is oaky, vinous and fruity with tart cherry notes. Flavor is quite fruity up front, perhaps blueberry, oaky, starts lightly sweet but quickly dries out to a medium tartness. Finish is tart with light oaky astringency. Medium body. Nice beer, but I must say it is better before it warms up, oddly enough.
