Since the early 1600's, the Dutch have attempted to breed a pure black tulip. Many have tried and a few have come close...but none have succeeded. Call it the Holy Grail of the tulip world. In honor of this elusive flower we have brewed this special elixir. We have combined the finest Belgian malt, rare European hops, an authentic Belgian yeast and finally, the brew is dusted with tulip petals. The resulting blend is nothing less than magical.

Pours a bright, clear gold with a small amount of near-white head. Aroma has a bit of grain and dough to it, but definately a pine scent. Spicy/sweet flavor contains the elements of the aroma with a little bitter finish. Medium body. Soft. Easy to drink. Great!

NIce ale! You get a bit of yeast, floral, and fruit. It’s a pretty nice mix, one at first sip I wasn’t sure I liked but in the end a very above average brew.

Tap at the source. Pours light yellow, white head. Aroma is lemon, orange, banana, clove, esters, wheat. Flavor is lots of bubblegum, esters, banana, clove, some lemon. Wow that’s estery. Not for me.

At 9% alcohol I have no reason to complain. However, the flavors are not really the best.

Smell of yeast and sour fruit, vinegar. Come clear golden color with thin white crown. Taste of yeast and sour fruit, somewhat bland. Slightly slimy texture. Just ok. Don’t feel the tripel.

12oz bottle. A crystalline gold pour with some minimal head. The aroma is sweet and alcoholic - the way I feel about most tripels. The flavors carry a bit of hop cleanliness and the traditional Belgian yeast. I liked the name and the label, but this struck me as standard tripel. I am unfortunately not the best audience for this particular style.

pours a clear straw gold with a medium to small white head. Aroma of banana, and a hint of floral. sweetish fruity taste. Banana and some light spice. Kind of a light perfume nasal linger. Sweetish finish. Pretty good.

Clear golden color, fine white head with good retention and lacing. Aroma has lots of fruity esters. Taste is sweet spiced straw. Decent.

It’s just kinda boring. You get some serious fruit notes, but they’re all very dull. It’s body is almost too light making it like drinking a juice or cider. I am just not impressed by this beer. It’s very underwhelming.

for a second, the flavor is world class; the beginning of the taste... then gets a littly honey, syrupy, medicinal, messy. nice aroma - floral, honey. the end of taste lowers from what this could have been.

Bottle to tulip. Gold straw in the glass. Fine thin white head. Nose is bready yeast with a faint floral overtone. Palate is sweet, floral honey over a bread heavy yeast. The high abv is well hidden. Finishes sweet and lasting.
