3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Brilliant mahogany-brown pour with a 2 inch, creamy, tan head. Spicy, dried fruit and malty nose. Medium body. Distinctive lacing. Balanced sweetness, spice, toasted bread and a faint sour note on the palate. Pleasant lingering with bitter notes towards the finish.
Bottle. Brown with white head. 3 months passe bbd, but I cant notice anything wrong. Nuts, caramel, dried fruita and some caramel in the aroma and taste. Brown malt in the aroma also. jrodooo5 (1688) - DOVER, Delaware, USA - JUN 14, 2017
Attractive & creamy! Pours dark brown w/ a head & great lacing. The aroma contains caramel & soft hazelnut. The flavor is nutty, slight caramel, & a bit of bitterness. It has a really nice feel on the palate & is overall a good brown! martythesmarty (385) - SWEDEN - MAY 10, 2017

Thanks to Dave. Cool black and white drawing on label. Smooth brown ale, leaning to the sweet side. Malty, with a dash of caramel. Average aroma. Not very inspiring imho. Bulk_Carrier (6065) - Vermont, USA - MAR 5, 2017
Poured into a mug, the appearance was a brown color with a lasting finger’s worth of white foamy head. Sly lace.
The aroma had a robust nutty maltiness. Light rye malt, then roast, subtle raisin all blend nicely.
The flavor brings together the previously mentioned aromas adding a touch of biscuits and caramel malts. Warming malty aftertaste rolling into the finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body, almost closer to medium. Somewhat sessionable. Good carbonation. ABV felt fine as projected.
Overall, nicely done brown ale that I could have again.

Mørk rødbrun klar med høyt beige skum. Lukter nøtter, karamell, tørket frukt og noe mocca. Middels fylde. Smaker søtlig kandis, brent karamell og lett kakaopulver. Lett bitterhet i avslutningen. Kort. fonefan (49997) - VestJylland, DENMARK - JAN 8, 2017

Clear medium to dark brown color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, bread, cookie, caramel, sweet malt, toasted - roasted malt. Flavor is moderate sweet with a long duration, sweet malt, bread, cookie, toasted - roasted malt. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft.
Bottle. Black. Roasted, soft pillowy smooth. Hints of chocolate, dried dark fruits. Med full bodied, smooth, easy, bit light mid palate. Good balance, nice drinkability. Really liked this. Isnt overly complex, or that complex at all, but just really easy, smoooth, likable.
