Dragonís Milk is a 17th century term used to describe the strong beer usually reserved for royalty. This strong ale was aged in oak for over 120 days. The aging process extracts flavors from the wood, which contribute to its complex character. Hints of bourbon flavor perfectly compliment its roasted malts to produce a beer fit for a King.

This beer pours very dark with a small however frothy head. The aroma is dominated by maltiness. The taste is damn good on the front, oaky, bourbon and chocolate in the middle and sickning sweet achocol on the end. I would have enjoyed it better with a slighty lower gravity so i could enjoy the complexity, without getting slapped in the face by the alcohol in the end.

12oz bottle. Pours a deep, dark brown with a small tan head. Aroma is booze, vanilla, oak, bourbon, chocolate, and a little caramel. Taste is vanilla and bourbon with oak, chocolate, caramel, and a little roast. Some alcohol in the finish. Full body. Soft carbonation. Silk smooth mouthfeel. Mouthfeel isnít as thick as some imperial stouts but it is very pleasing.

22 oz bottle poured, as the first beer of 2017. Pairing Michigan beer with Michigan football for some good luck. Bottled 10/14/16. Dark red tinted black pour with a lasting tan cream head. A nice, chocolatey aroma. Incredible. Creamy, milky vanilla chocolate flavor, very smooth bourbon addition. So much chocolate here. An amazing drink. Worth the wait for this to finally reach WA. Very nice stout.

Poured from a bomber. Aroma is a nice mix of bourbon, vanilla and roasted malt. Appearance is dark black with a thin light brown head, just what youíd expect from an imperial stout. Taste is very similar to aroma with a little more chocolate and a nice amount of heat from the alcohol. The mouthfeel is a little watery compared to other imperials but is still nice and lends to the smooth flavor. Overall really enjoyed this beer.
