Tasted in October 2011 from a bomber bottle shared at a tasting. Pours hazy orange with a thick white head that leaves thin, even lace. The nose is fruity peach and apricot with some floral hops and earthy, spicy yeast. The flavor is re focused on the bitter hops and spicy yeast with the fruity flavors underlying. The body is light with very lively carbonation and a long bitter and pitted fruit finish.

Pours cloudy amber orange with two fingers of sticky off white head. Nose is nice, zesty with a peppery earthy yeast character. Notes of pineapple. Flavor is a tad bitter, citrus rind and black pepper. Palate is sharp, soft carbonation and bitter finish.

Sampled at an esbls tasting. Ni brought it. Hazy dark golden. A big white head. Nice citrus hop aromavwith farmhouse funk. This is a pleasant mix of hops and farmhouse. It is lightly sour. Citrus is the finish.

Aroma is citrus, slightly effervescent yeast and bread. The flavor is citrus/grapefruit up front with a decent malty base in the middle and a dry and bitter finish. Tastes like an APA mixed with a Belgian Ale, pretty good overall, leans a bit more to the APA side but has enough yeast to make it interesting and unique.

Reddish amber with a big, rocky head and pillowy lace. Solid caramel malt taste is over-run by hops that mingle nicely, creating an excellent balance. Excellent brew. Worth repeating often.

Finhead (1845) - OFallon, Illinois, USA - DEC 19, 2011
A hazy, burnt orange pour with a small white head. The aroma is dominated by floral and spicy hops. The light body has an oily texture with fizzy carbonation. It has a bittersweet taste with some orange zest and a slightly tart, dry finish.

Clear lt brown and orange with large fluffy off-white head that lingers and leaves nice lacing. Aromas lemongrass, citrus hops, spice, yeasty funkiness and bleu cheese. Crisp carbonation, smooth mouth, nice dryness in the finish. Flavors yeast, wood, some hoppy bitterness, malt & peppery spice. Pretty good, though not a favorite.

(22oz bottle from jcnd9803). Pours a clear orange-copper color with massive off-white color and active carbonation. Aroma has citrus, resin, wood and belgian yeast. Taste is sweet with some resiny notes and belgian yeast. Medium bodied and oily. Ok. This is definitely not a favorite style of mine.

esjaygee (3902) - Oak Creek, Wisconsin, USA - NOV 17, 2011
Translucent amber with a foamy and pillowy beige blanket atop. Aroma of bready yeast, citrus, lemongrass, yeast and grains. Fizzy body tastes of spicy Belgian yeast, pale malt, floral hops and light funk. Mild bitterness, the low end of the hatters.

3.4
JK (6342) - St. Louis Park, Minnesota, USA - NOV 14, 2011
Dark copper color. It has a good floral aroma with yeast. Flavor has more flowers and hop bitterness. Good, effervescent hops.
