2012 vintage served in a Duvel tulip. Pours a hazy orange yellow with 2 fingers of foamy white head and decent lacing. Aroma is soapy. Lemon, orange, and coriander. Taste is somewhat funky up front. There is lemon, ginger, coriander, orange, and mild barnyard flavors. There is a bitterness in the back that is almost IPA like. Mouthfeel is thin and easy to drink. Overall this is a good summer session beer.

22 oz. bomber, $4.99 at Binny’s, June ’12. Pours a hazy honey color in my smallish goblet. Foams mostly coagulates around the edges. Quite a strong smell of alcohol considering its "basic" abv. Malty farmhouse taste is wrapped in hop bitterness, I think there’s some fresh hops involved, too. Should very much be in the saison wheelhouse. Claims of funk may be overstated, but there some nice spiciness from yeast and warm ferment. No reason not to like.

Top pops and head pours everywhere. Once it resides, you have a golden saison with serious farmhouse funk. Light mouthfeel with some slight hops and heavy yeast. Pretty good, not great. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pours a deep gold with a moderate white head. Floral hop aroma. Slight malty flavor that blends well with the spice and grapefruit hop flavor. Some carbonation in the mouthfeel. Very pleasant little beer.

Bottle. More IPAish than Belgian, which makes me like it more. Slight hoppiness to the nose and taste, though it’s balanced somewhat with a hint of sweetness. Not bad.

Bottle, pours a bright yellow, flavour is very spicy, the flavour is a bit of funk and barnyard, clove, and a bit of brettiness, it mixes for a smooth and very enjoyable offering, nice beer

Light unclear medium orange colour with a large, frothy, good lacing, fully lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, moderate to heavy hoppy, orange - citrus, apricot, moderate yeasty, tropical fruit, apricot, funky. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and light moderate bitter with a average to long duration, funky. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.

The aroma is like fresh paint with herbs, spices, and citrus. The appearance is cloudy amber with a foamy head. The taste is like the aroma. The palate is smooth. Overall not a winner for me.
