Pours orange with a tiny white ring. Smells funky and a bit like flowers. Taste is funky and mildly bitter. Medium-bodied with a smooth texture and mild mouth-carbonation, New Holland farmhouse Hatter finishes with some bitterness and a touch of funk. xnoxhatex (1305) - Grand Rapids/Chicago, Michigan, USA - JUL 30, 2009
On tap at new holland. Clear golden with white head. Aroma is big bubblegum, yeast and alc, perfume as well. Flavor is alc, perfume, punch you in the face bubblegum, pretty sweet. Medium with light creamy body. A little bit of a mess. sherm1016 (1274) - Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA - JUL 11, 2012

Golden with a thin white head. Aroma is strong citrus. Flavor is hops with an even stronger citrus oil flavor which becomes more apparent as it warms. Finish leaves a little bitter astringency on the back of the tongue. Pretty interesting. kseecs16 (1216) - Naperville, Illinois, USA - SEP 16, 2012
Bottle. Pours orange amber with a big foamy off-white head. Interesting aroma with grassy funky notes, some floral sweetness. Not a particularly funky or dry flavor, this one just didn’t pack a lot of punch for me.

Bomber: Aroma has got a nice hop texture, yeasty, orange, and a light spice note. Appearance is a cloudy orange with a thick white head that lingers. Taste is like a hoppy belgian ale, somewhat dry on the aftertaste. Medium to light mouthfeel. Overall, Decent stuff I would drink this one again. Cheers! alliance100 (1187) - Grand Rapids, Michigan, USA - MAY 18, 2014

22 oz bottle, pours out a gold copper color with whitish head and an average amount of bubbles. aroma of sourdough, spices, tart acid and a bit of earthy green hops. not overly funk, nor overly dry as i might have expected from something labeled "farmhouse" but it maintains enough IPA character that it doesn’t need to be purely wild. certainly a change of pace from the regular mad hatter IPA, but it’s an enjoyable one and would go nicely with shrimp or thanksgiving turkey. On tap at the Michigan Fall Beer Fest. A nice bit of funkiness. Quite refreshing with a nice tartness. vikingguy (1106) - Carver, Minnesota, USA - SEP 8, 2012
Slightly hazy honey-gold color with ample head. Green apple, citrus and grassy hops on the nose. Taste - Citrusy & grassy hops, a little fruity, yeasty and floral. Pretty dry and spritzy. This is pretty good but I don’t love it.
