Bomber: Aroma has got a nice hop texture, yeasty, orange, and a light spice note. Appearance is a cloudy orange with a thick white head that lingers. Taste is like a hoppy belgian ale, somewhat dry on the aftertaste. Medium to light mouthfeel. Overall, Decent stuff I would drink this one again. Cheers!

22 oz bottle, pours out a gold copper color with whitish head and an average amount of bubbles. aroma of sourdough, spices, tart acid and a bit of earthy green hops. not overly funk, nor overly dry as i might have expected from something labeled "farmhouse" but it maintains enough IPA character that it doesnt need to be purely wild. certainly a change of pace from the regular mad hatter IPA, but its an enjoyable one and would go nicely with shrimp or thanksgiving turkey.

On tap at the Michigan Fall Beer Fest. A nice bit of funkiness. Quite refreshing with a nice tartness.

Slightly hazy honey-gold color with ample head. Green apple, citrus and grassy hops on the nose. Taste - Citrusy & grassy hops, a little fruity, yeasty and floral. Pretty dry and spritzy. This is pretty good but I dont love it.

Light colored, well-carbonated. The yeast character in this is lovely, with more funk and berries than spice. Unfortunately the hop character is merely ok, slightly bitter, and not very smooth at that . It is well brewed and at its best is a light grassy/berry summer treat, but it just doesnt go where the american hops can. I never new American hops could pair well with a Belgian yeast, though, until I tried Iron Hill Belgian IPA, Stones Cali-Belgique doesnt do it for me either.

Poured from a bomber into a brandy snifter. 2012 vintage otherwise no bottle date. Pours with a lot of fizzy head but little lacing. Mildly funky, hippy and tart aroma. Mouthfeel is very light with too much carbonation. Taste is lemon, funk, grassy hops, Belgian taste, cedar and clay. You know, this could have been a great beer. Ultimately, it just doesn't have enough flavor. It is kinda like seltzer water flavored like a good beer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
