Pours orange with a tiny white ring. Smells funky and a bit like flowers. Taste is funky and mildly bitter. Medium-bodied with a smooth texture and mild mouth-carbonation, New Holland farmhouse Hatter finishes with some bitterness and a touch of funk. leah2974 (453) - Georgia, USA - FEB 22, 2013
Warm orange color, hazy bodied, fresh green tealike aroma. Seems to evaporate on the tongue, moderate carbonation, mild flavors with some lingering hop bitterness. malrubius (2857) - Springfield, Vermont, USA - DEC 6, 2012
2012 bottle from some store in Mayfield Heights, OH. Hazy golden orange with lasting head and lace. Mild funky fruity pineapple citrus spicy hop aroma. Mild fruity pineapple sweetness with medium bitter fruity very dry lightly tart spicy hop finish. Nice effervescent carbo makes for medium light refreshing body, accents the green flavor (aroma) of the hops. I love this shit. Excellent. OxfordBeer (16) - Dearborn, Michigan, USA - MAY 3, 2013
22oz bottle into tulip.
Aroma: Nose is floral with a citrus scent. Hard to describe some of the ’sour?’ aroma. very wild, some brettanomyces.
Appearance: Cloudy bright orange with rocky off-white head that remains until the last sip leaving laces on the glass.
Taste: On the bitter side, slightly sour.
Palate: Light bodied and very fizzy! Long bitter finish.
Overall: I enjoyed this beer as it is very unique and refreshing. Thinking about cellaring a bottle for a year and seeing how it changes. The only problem I had with this beer was when I opened the bottle it foamed over and got all over my table! mike5326 (1743) - virginia beach, Virginia, USA - SEP 8, 2013
Poured from a a cold bottle. Clear, carbonated light amber color, large off-white frothy head. Bold spice and cinnamon aroma. Medium body slick texture with average carbonation, moderate sweetness with a spicy, tangy wild yeast flavor with a mild bitter finish..

Great clean aroma. Enormous head that quickly begins looking like soap suds. Slightly cloudy but nice golden color. Not bitter, but tart, easy going down. Right amount of carbonation. If this is considered an IPA, it’s my favorite... probably because it doesn’t taste like an IPA. jwtinn01 (34) - louisville, Kentucky, USA - DEC 28, 2013
Perfectly balanced beer with slight hop taste. A good summer beer or saison you could drink multiple of. obguthr (6297) - Staunton, Virginia, USA - SEP 15, 2011
Grapefruit, rosehips, lemon meringue, candi and lime on the nose. Clear orange, enormous head, nice lacing. Grapefruit peel flavor, drier than expected. Lemongrass toward the end. Not nearly as complex as the aroma would have you believe. Another in a line of great American made BPAs. Patrickctenchi (6550) - Cox’s Knob, columbus, Indiana, USA - MAY 31, 2012
Bomber: Gusher ! (not a bad one, thankfully)
Light, cloudy persimmon colour with a huge, craggy, slow dissolving tan head.
Aroma is heavily spiced, fruity and floral.
Flavour is bright and crisp, fruity and tart....
Nicely hopped over a faint barnyard mustiness and a slight acidity.
Excellent. superspak (5500) - Michigan, USA - JUL 26, 2013
22 ounce bottle into tulip glass, bottled on 5/14/2013. Pours lightly hazy orange amber color with a nice 2 finger dense and rocky off white head with great retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lingers. Spotty foamy lacing clings around the glass. Aromas of orange zest, lemon zest, orange rind, grapefruit, pear, apple, clove, banana, pepper, caramel, floral, grass, light pine, light bubblegum, and floral/yeast earthiness. Damn nice aromas with good balance and complexity of hop, malt, and yeast ester notes; with good strength. Taste of orange zest, grapefruit, orange rind, lemon zest, pear, apple, clove, banana, pepper, caramel, floral, grass, light bubblegum, light pine, and floral/yeast earthiness. Lingering notes of citrus, citrus zest, clove, banana, pepper, caramel, floral, grass, light pine, bubblegum, and earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Damn nice balance and complexity of hop, yeast ester, and malt flavors; with a great sweetness/bitterness balance and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Medium carbonation and body; with a smooth, crisp, and lightly sticky mouthfeel that is nice. Alcohol is very well hidden with only a slight warming noticed after the finish. Overall this is an excellent Belgian IPA. All around great balance and complexity of hop, malt, and yeast ester flavors; and very smooth and crisp to drink. A very enjoyable offering.
