Had on tap in a pint glass.
Pours a clear medium amber with not much in the way of a head or lacing.
Aroma is quite fruity with some pine notes thrown in.
There is a bit of candy sweetness up front in the flavor with more citrus in there behind. Bitterness is on the moderate side with a slightly sticky mouthfeel and finish.
Overall, a pretty good beer but it comes up a bit short when compared to some other harvest ales out there. Not really one to seek out.

Tap. Pour is clear amber, thin white head. Aroma is lemon, sweet grass, lots of herbal. Taste is herbal, grassy, nice full bitterness, fresh pine. njager246 (697) - grand rapids, Michigan, USA - DEC 14, 2013
Aroma pine and grapefruit. .. not much to the taste.. and not much here at all.. not even close to some of the other area harvest ales jandd1983 (4318) - Wentzville, Missouri, USA - DEC 7, 2013
It poured a clear copper color with a small white head. The aroma was floral and fairly one dimensional. The taste was similar with a medium bitter finish and a small hoppy aftertaste. Not sure this is what I expected. SPDickerman (1239) - Texas, USA - DEC 6, 2013
Pours murky brown with an off-white head. Smells kinda malty, kinda hoppy. Taste is bitter with a pleasant malt backbone. Medium-bodied with a smooth texture and soft mouth-carbonation, New Holland Hopivore finishes with a mild spruce bitterness.

Draft - pours pale amber with white head and great lacing. Nose is pine, paint thinner and resin. Grapefruit. Light with an unpleasant aftertaste. Not that hoppy for 55 IBUs. Weak. Travlr (24745) - Charlotte, North Carolina, USA - NOV 28, 2013
Draft. Cloudy deep amber color, medium white head. Aroma of damp and earthy hops. Taste is bitter and watery. TheBear11D (365) - Michigan, USA - NOV 25, 2013
The Hopivore pours a deep amber orange with a tan head that fizzles out somewhat quickly but leaves fair lacing. The aroma is caramel, molasses and floral hops. The flavor is caramel and molasses up front but the floral hops quickly take over and leave a bitter flavor well into the aftertaste. I love a good IPA but the bitterness is a bit much in the aftertaste. Overall this is a decent beer.

Bold bitterness upfront without lingering flavor. Bready. It’s ok but not worth $10/4-pk. Cmj4979 (8) - - NOV 18, 2013 does not count
Smells good, looks nice, be the taste is lacking. Some kind of weird caramel stale hop taste. Almost smells on the verge of a scotch, but is just not very good.
