I gotta say that the aroma and color of this brew are just awesome. This stuff provides an extremely rich, but not too sweet pumpkin pie flavor. The head is like whipped cream. It is also potent, finishing with an almost opiate-like glowing buzz. Call me crazy, but I consider this among the finest alcoholic beverages I’ve ever tried, period. My Favorite Beer. Always tastes delicious. My dad always taught me the first sip of a beer is the best. This beer has a slight exception. The last sip is just as good as the first. The pumpkin is not that strong in this beer but the cinnamon and nutmeg are. Highly recommend! Deryk (5) - Elgin, Alabama, USA - DEC 15, 2012 does not count
Pumpkin pie in a beer...this was a surprising rich flavor but yet still had all the characteristics of a quality dark beer. labattblueleaf (225) - Grand Rapids, Michigan, USA - OCT 6, 2002
Tremendous Spice ale. Light pumpkin pie spice fills this wonderful ale as well as the faint flavor of pumkin. Dark red in color, the flavors are not overdone where they kill the taste of a good beer. ads135 (4587) - Omaha, Nebraska, USA - SEP 17, 2012
This may be the best pumpkin beer I’ve had. Too many of them are too sweet or taste too much like imitation pumpkin. This one has the authentic pumpkin flavor, but its really the nutmeg bump that pegs this as a memorable beer and one that you can drink an entire bottle of.

Great beer. One of the most popular throughout the Cosmopolitan Fraternity. Keep on drunking ’cause drunk days are better! mikeben (355) - Naperville, Illinois, USA - MAR 3, 2004
UPDATED: MAR 9, 2008 Nice pumpkin color and a slightly sweet scent. Funny on first taste it seemed to have a sour hoppy grapefruit taste similer to their zoomer wit and was only good after it warmed. Second time I had it it was great. I really tasted a gingerbread thing and very pumpkin like. Not a real sweet beer but it is nicly spiced. efeliciano (4) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - OCT 12, 2013 does not count
Nice golden color. Subtle sweetness. Perfect hints of cinnamon and nutmeg which went hand in hand with the pumpkin flavor. Had the right amount of hoppiness which didnt overpower the flavoring. Ale Boy99 (19) - Twin Lake, Michigan, USA - AUG 7, 2002
Reminds me of a slice of pumpkin pie on Thanksgiving Day! awautlet (45) - Madison, Wisconsin, USA - OCT 4, 2007
Wonderful nose of pumpkins and spice. On the palate it was malty but also had plenty of that yummy pumpkin pie taste. Lighter for a pumpkin beer but that comes in handy on those indian summer nights. I’d have to say this was my favorite pumpkin beer so far this season.
