Ichabod combines malted barley and real pumpkin with cinnamon and nutmeg in a delicious and inviting brew. A rewarding complement to many dishes, Ichabod pairs well with autumnal foods such as poultry and root vegetables. After dinner, try it with your favorite dessert!

A lighter body than I would have expected. Pale gold with a thin but clinging white head. There is more spice than pumpkin in the aroma. The clove stands out over anything else. Medium mouthfeel with some nice carbonation. The flavor is decent, but there are better pumpkin ales out tehre. Some malty sweetness up front gives way to the spices. Again, the clove dominates, although I can taste some cinnamon. Not bad.

Tap, ADT. Clear golden orange with a small white head. Pumpkin pie spice, white pepper, grassy hops, bread. Light bodied, mild malt finish. OK.

Good taste up front but an earthy aftertaste I'm not a fan of. Great aroma. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Where Purchased: 347ml bottle from Meijer Consumed: from a pilsner glass Aroma: Smells sweet and spicy Appearance : medium gold orange with lots of head that last to the last drop. Excellent lacing. Taste: Malty, sweet with just a hint of pumpkin and spices. Didn’t taste artificial. Palate : light body. Slight sweet aftertaste. Good carbonation. Overall: Not a huge fan of the style, but this was great. Everything was in balance with no artificial taste like some have. I was glad to try and will buy again. MB. The Beer "Bear"on.

Draft. Amber body with frothy, off-white head. Aroma of cinnamon, nutmeg, citrus, clove. The flavor is moderately sweet and lightly bitter. It finishes lightly sweet and moderately bitter. Thin to medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation. Lots of spices, lingering bitterness. Just OK.

On tap at Hops and Pie poured a clear orange amber with a lasting creamy amber head. Aromas of caramel, allspice, clove and cinnamon. Palate was light bodied and smooth with a dry finish. Flavors of caramel, clove and allspice with a smooth dry lingering spiced finish.

Bottle from beer club. Pours mahogany with no head. All the usual suspects for a fall seasonal beer, pumpkin and spices with a smooth finish. Overall, not so overbearing you don't want another. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

My favorite pumpkin ale!!! I got into pumpkin ales about 3 or so years ago and by far this one is my absolute favorite. The pumpkin spice and nutmeg are a nice combo (of course) and with this ale they are not overpowering but you know that you are drinking a pumpkin ale. I look forward to every September when this is available. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
