Draft at Franklin Tap. Wait, I haven’t had this one yet? Let’s rectify this right now, waitress! Dark brown beer under a thick, though short-lived head. Again, the smell is mostly pumpkin spice, mainly nutmeg and allspice. A rewarding, thick mouthfeel and there is a somewhat "veggie" taste of cooked gourd. Spices remain pretty forward on the palate. Despite all that, it’s pretty easy drinking. A slight creamy note works in toward the bottom of the glass.
Draft. Amber body with frothy, off-white head. Aroma of cinnamon, nutmeg, citrus, clove. The flavor is moderately sweet and lightly bitter. It finishes lightly sweet and moderately bitter. Thin to medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation. Lots of spices, lingering bitterness. Just OK. Ratman197 (14970) - Arvada, Colorado, USA - NOV 4, 2016
On tap at Hops and Pie poured a clear orange amber with a lasting creamy amber head. Aromas of caramel, allspice, clove and cinnamon. Palate was light bodied and smooth with a dry finish. Flavors of caramel, clove and allspice with a smooth dry lingering spiced finish. altonbrownd (5897) - Chevy Chase, Maryland, USA - OCT 31, 2016
Bottle from Whole Foods, Tenleytown. Orange body with slight head. Nose is pumpkin, spices. Taste of spices, nutmeg, pumpkins and caramel. Smooth texture. Sweet and spicy in the finish. Weevo (175) - Indiana, USA - OCT 2, 2016
Bottle from beer club. Pours mahogany with no head. All the usual suspects for a fall seasonal beer, pumpkin and spices with a smooth finish. Overall, not so overbearing you don't want another.

My favorite pumpkin ale!!! I got into pumpkin ales about 3 or so years ago and by far this one is my absolute favorite. The pumpkin spice and nutmeg are a nice combo (of course) and with this ale they are not overpowering but you know that you are drinking a pumpkin ale. I look forward to every September when this is available.

Bottle. Pours a clear amber color. Aroma and taste are spices with some pumpkin. zubblwump (105) - Michigan, USA - MAY 21, 2016
UPDATED: JUL 13, 2016 Pours a cloudy golden with a modest white head. Smells of spiced pumpkin pie. Yum. Taste is similar, but doesn’t hold up to the nose. It’s good, very little bitterness... but somewhat uninspiring. I’d drink it again, but wouldn’t go out of my way to find it either. So far this is there first New Holland brew I didn’t really, really love. HuskerTan (2212) - Ravenna, Nebraska, USA - FEB 25, 2016
A- Pumpkin, gourd, nutmeg.
A- Orange color, clear liquid, beige head.
T- Gourd, nutmeg, lavender, perfume.
P- Medium body, average texture, average carbonation, slightly unbalanced finish.
O- A bit of gourd and pumpkin in there with a nutmeg like spice. A bit unbalanced and really not that exciting. LetsGoState (886) - Pennsylvania, USA - DEC 15, 2015
Aroma is some spice. Taste is full with good spices. Overall a solid pumpkin ale.
