22 oz bottle from Liquor Barrel. Cloudy, dark orange pour with a fluffy two finger head. Hoppy (citrus) aroma slightly malty. Flavor is very hoppy with some citrus notes and a malty backbone, pretty bitter. Mouthfeel is thick and chewy with a bitter finish. Quevillon (3155) - Boisbriand, Quebec, CANADA - JUN 7, 2010
Drank on day 2 of the 2010 Mondial de la Bière. Beautiful red, small head. Aroma hops barley sugar, a bit of brown sugar. Really dry hops taste, not very tasty, dry aftertaste. What the hell was that?

Bottle at Mondiale 2010. Hop aromas, emminating from very golden coloured body with a white hjead and lace rings. You can see the carbonation bubbles. Good piney hops and creamy malts, hits the bullseye for the style. But you can detect the a.b.v. Bit above average mouthfeel. patrick767 (4095) - fort wayne, Indiana, USA - JUN 2, 2010
bottle - Pours amber-orange with a one finger head. It has a big grapefruit hop aroma with some underlying malt. The flavor is of big, crisp, grapefruit heavy hop bitterness with some caramel malt that supports it nicely. It’s full bodied and overall an excellent brew. flatmatt (1604) - Northville, Michigan, USA - MAY 30, 2010
12 oz bottle. Pours dark amber with an off-white head. Aroma is mostly tropical fruits, with some citrus and pine blending in. Flavor again has a lot of juicy tropical fruit flavors, blending with some resinous notes and citrus, plus some caramel malts. Wow, I’m really loving the blend of flavors. This is really good.

Draught at Churchkey. Pours hazy, deep copper toned, aromas of citrus and resin hit you and draw you in. Wonderful floral, citrus, grapefruit juice, malt backbone, very deftly balances the heavy hops. Hides the alcohol very well, could easily drink several of these tooo quickly !
Enjoy. wavers1 (916) - Notown, California, USA - MAY 25, 2010
courtesy of sidetracked, thanks! nice dark amber to light brown pour with a creamy 1 finger head. aroma is faint, but nice. the taste is big and heavy, lots of malt, east coast style iipa. lots of clandied floral tastes, medium bitterness to balance, great mouthfeel and the abv is well hidden. very thick aftertaste, thick body, bordering hoppy bw, and similar to flying mouflan side by side. koopa (338) - , New Jersey, USA - MAY 25, 2010
Appearance: Dark and malty drown red with honey folds. A frothy 1 finger white crown that shows some retention and lacing.
Smell: Caramel malt and floral hops.
Taste: Caramel malt, floral hops, a touch of astringency, a touch of citrus.
Mouthfeel: Medium bodied, a touch chewy, and very nice!
Drinkablity: The flavor profile is the only thing holding me back from rating this brew higher in this category.

Bottle. Rusty amber pour with a short, beige head. Aroma is spicy and citrusy hops, strong caramel, sweet malt, and maple syrup. Taste is big citrus hops, robust spicy hops, strong caramel, sweet malt, toffee, and melon. Body is thick and chewy while retaining is resinous feel. Carbonation is mild and creamy at times. Ends with more caramel notes, toffee, citrus fruit, melon, spicy hops, floral hops and light maple syrup. Nice stuff!
