A robust renovation of the India Pale Ale. Assertive dry-hoppying provides an aromatic telltale nose, indicative of the bitter symphony to follow. Bold hop character with lively grapefruit and citrus notes. 20° Plato, Alc. 9.4% by Vol.

Dogbrick (13145) - Columbus, Ohio, USA - JUL 13, 2010
Sample at the 2nd Annual Olde Worthington Beer Festival on 7/10/2010. This beer is a clear amber color with a thin off-white soap-sudsy head that evaporates steadily. Stringy lacing. Citrusy hops and malt in the nose. Medium body with flavors of citrus, piney hops and sweet malt. The finish is hoppy with a malty base that lingers awhile. Decent beer all around.

crossovert (13080) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - MAR 7, 2011
On tap, a bit watery for a DIPA, it didn’t have that succulent bitter mouthfeel, it wasn’t super sweet but neither the malt nor the hops stood out really.

bu11zeye (13029) - Frisco (Dallas), Texas, USA - SEP 9, 2009
( 22oz bottle, courtesy of blutt59 ) Pours a clear amber body with a small white head. Aroma of pineapple, citrus, pine, and resiny. Flavor of caramel malt and hops (pineapple, grapefruit, light floral) with a dry, bitter finish.

Bov (12888) - Bienne, SWITZERLAND - JAN 27, 2011
from Mondial de la Bière, Strasbourg - pours a cloudy dark reddish-amber colour with a modest head retention; a fair hoppy aroma with notes of quince and raspberries marmalade; full-bodied and solidly bitter; quite dry and with a long hoppy aftertaste with notes of red fruits, slightly sticky and astringent - straightforward

j12601 (12680) - Poughkeepsie, New York, USA - AUG 5, 2010
On tap at New Holland on our way to RBSG. Pours a clear orange with a thin beige head. Citrus and malt, faint alcohol. Nice juicy malt and hops, earthy. Long bitter grapefruit and quinine on the finish. Well balanced.

hopdog (12673) - Lansdale, Pennsylvania, USA - JUL 2, 2009
22oz bottle. Poured a medium amberish color with an averaged sized off white head. Aromas of pine, some citrus, and some floral hoppiness. Tastes of citrus, pine, and some toasted caramel. Lighter alcohol in the finish.

Sammy (12361) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - JUN 4, 2010
Bottle at Mondiale 2010. Hop aromas, emminating from very golden coloured body with a white hjead and lace rings. You can see the carbonation bubbles. Good piney hops and creamy malts, hits the bullseye for the style. But you can detect the a.b.v. Bit above average mouthfeel.

madsberg (11773) - Søborg, DENMARK - SEP 22, 2009
Bottled. Amber coloured. Light hazy. Light brown head. Aroma is piney, flowery, grapy and has some spicy sweetness. Flavour is piney, flowery, spiced, caramelly grapy . Medium to full bodied. Dry. Sweet grapish bitterness in the end. Very nice.
