3.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Draft and 22 oz bottle - pours a clear golden color with thin white head that disappears quickly . Sour barnyard aromas. Taste is basically the same with a mild biscuity flavor from the wheat . No real distinguishing flavors though it is actually a really refreshing beer . Not bad considering the price ... $4.99 for a 22 oz bottle ...I can live with that .

Had this at Where The Wild Beers Are VII (2016). Pours a hazed amber with a thin white head. Musk, funk, acid, funky. Acid, popcorn and toast.

22oz bottle pours out a golden topped with a fizzy head. Nose is berries plenty of tart pucker notes. Taste is more of the pucker berries a little wet wheat. marcus (10231) - Sacramento, California, USA - NOV 14, 2016
Bottle from Cap Tap. Pours bright gold with a foamy white head and a sour fruit aroma. There is an acidic wheat malt flavor with a dry tart finish that stays on the palate. bhensonb (15218) - Woodland, California, USA - NOV 14, 2016
Bomber shared by Marcus. Pours gold with a white head. Slightly acidic/sour aroma. Med body. Flavor is tart/sour, arguably citrus, and I think an ending lactic note in the finish. Fits the style. alexsdad06 (10434) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - NOV 6, 2016
22 oz bottle at home from notes. Pours a clear golden color with a small white head. The aroma and flavor have pale wheat malts, tart/sour citrus, mild spices, some acidity nothing stands out, but a decent example of the style.

It might be incorrigible but it’s certainly not unapproachable. New Holland’s Berliner Weisse is pleasantly laid back. It’s yellow and cloudy. Bright, tart citrus aromas redolent of some white wine varieties. Citrus and berry tartness in the flavor. It’s unmistakably sour, but the acidity is kept to a satisfying, not-overwhelming level. Lovely Berliner Weisse from the Midwest. HuskerTan (2203) - Ravenna, Nebraska, USA - AUG 28, 2016
A- Tart, funky, lemons, subtle wheat.
A- Gold color, clear liquid, white head.
P- Light body, average texture, average carbonation, tart finish.

Sample at The Pump House. Quite tart with apples and malts. Some funkiness adds complexity. too tart for me. Not a fan. bwa5879 (942) - Grand Rapids, Michigan, USA - AUG 19, 2016
Mostly clear orange pour with healthy amount of larger bubbles constantly rising. Thing corona of white head at the glass. Rubbery sour aroma with tart raspberry. Soft carbonation, mouthfeel slightly frothy but viscous and light, finishes clean. Tastes of leather, tart berry, bit of rubber.

A very good example of a sour. Aroma has funk to it. Maybe some sour apples or grapes.Appearance is golden blonde with a hue of yellow. Taste will be with you for a while. Has a heavily sour presence to it.the palate has a medium body, with a fizzy long finish. Overall a very solid sour beer by New Holland.
