Light copper color. Great hoppy nose with nice pine, citrus, and floral elements, some sweet caramel. Taste follows, a bit malty for me, but not over the top. AWISLguy (3497) - Wisconsin, USA - AUG 31, 2015
Bottle from Brook Falls Discount - how have I not rated before?
Orangey pour with a ring of a white head leaving some spotty lace.
Aroma has floral hops, light fruits and pine. Taste is of sweet
caramel, some pine and some fruitiness. Medium bodied without much
alcohol presence. Perhaps a touch lowly carbonated. Finishes heavily
to the sweet side of bittersweet. Shrug? Have had over the years
many times, and between Founders Centennial and this one, these bigger
SW Mich brewers need to get a good West Coast IPA. Centennial is solid
and old-style, but not made for an IPA in this century. 13.2

Bottle from SB.
Golden colour, just a slight slight haze, medium white frothy head.
Sweet hoppy aroma with honey caramel and flowers, peach, mango, pine, cookies and some alcohol warmth.
Taste is also honey sweet and hoppy with vanilla crackers, citrus, peach, mango and pine needles. It’s pretty balanced and drinkable, despite some alcohol bite and heavy bitterness.
Medium to bigger body, soft carb, oily texture.
Nice. I like it. Well executed and quite drinkable.

A- Citrus, pine, floral.
A- Amber color, clear liquid, white head.
T- Pine, floral, citrus, bitter.
P- Medium body, average texture, average carbonation, bitter finish.
O- A very well balanced IPA. For as hopped as this is it is surprisingly easy to drink. Scopey (16537) - Croydon, Greater London, ENGLAND - AUG 24, 2015
Bottle at GBBF 2015. Cheers James. It pours lightly hazy amber with a decent white head. The nose is bitter-sweet, toasted grass, grapefruit, creaminess and custard apple. The taste is crisp, bitter, earthy, toasted grass, cereal, minerals, grapefruit, floral and light spice with a dry finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. Crisp and easy-going. Comes together quite nicely. demannu (451) - New Jersey, USA - JUL 31, 2015
Crisp fresh taste, not overly bitter. Light refreshing body. Dry finish, long lingering bitter aftertaste. Mixed hop aroma of floral and pine. Drinkable but i prefer the tasmanian version. trapped (3866) - New York, TURKEY - JUN 3, 2015
Draught @ Ginger Man. Slightly hazy dark orange with small off-white creamy head, faint floral hops aroma, medium carbonation, slightly watery hoppy taste, floral flavor remaining after a longish finish. Nice though a bit watery. TXBadger (2811) - Dallas, Texas, USA - MAY 26, 2015
Pours a medium amber color with off-white head. Floral notes and some citrusy pine on the nose; follows onto the palate. Finishes smooth for an IPA.
