COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Is insanely dry hopped with Centennial Hops. This pale copper colored ale has a flowery hop aroma and a bold hop bitterness. Hop Heads Only Please!

Although I’m not an IPA fan, this stuff is pretty good. It’s not overpowering with hoppy biterness and has a good citrus flavor that eliminates that usual IPA aftertaste.

Amber in color, huge bubbly white head, nice hoppy nose, medium-full body, very clean & crisp, decent malt backbone, straight-forward hoppiness in the flavors, maybe a bit too assertive, dry & spicy finish, a decent IPA

O.K. so I am not a big IPA fan, maybe hops are not my thing. However, for an IPA I am impressed. Good head and lace, a bit of ginger? Something with citrus.

A well-crafted IPA. Nice amber color with loads of hops and fruity malt backbone. Perhaps just a touch thin bodied but no major complaints.

Amber color, slightly cloudy with good head formation and retention. Great Brussels lace. Both the aroma and bittering hops left too vague an impression for my taste. There is a citrus note in the flavor rather like that of ginger ale. Lacks substance.

Darkover (1544) - Columbus, Ohio, USA - APR 18, 2004
UPDATED: FEB 6, 2007 Hazy orange color with a big lasting beige head and a fair amount of lacing. Aroma of pine and floral hops. Flavor of mostly hops and grapefruit. Long bitter finish. Pretty good.

Poured a dark orange color with a decent sized white head. The aroma and taste of the hops was good, but the finish needed a little work. Still very good though.

Copper amber color with white head & lacing. The aroma is brightly hopped with grapefruit, lotion & other citrus fruit. The flavor is moderately bitter & has a good balance of malty sweetness. Some spice and well rounded dry refreshing finish.

Hazy amber with a foamy head and lacing. Very nice hop profile, backed with nice malts. Liking the hops in the flavors. The malts blend in rather well. Citrus is nice and upfront with lemon and grapefruit. Very nice IPA.

Pours amber with a nice creamy head. Aromas of light malt, heavy hops, lemon, and very piney/resiny. The odor reminds me of Dogfish 90 minute IPA. Finishes very hoppy, with a smooth, resiny, piney, slightly citrus burst at the finish. An ass- kicking IPA.
