Bottled. A hazy amber beer with an off-white head. The aroma has notes of malt, brettanomyces, and a bit of bourbon. The flavor if sweet with notes of malt, bourbon, brettanomyces, and a bit of caramel, leading to a bitter and alcoholic finish. joergen (29353) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - MAR 23, 2012

Twist, Stockholm. Amber colour, small foamy head.Aroma is caramel malts, fruits, wood, mild honey and rather strong on the vanillaish notes as well. Flavour is toffee, nectar, vanilla and some sweet malts. Also some mild fruity and floral hops. Big toffeeish fiinish.
Draft at Paradiso Dupont. Pale golden color, white edge head. Aroma of bourbon. Taste of bourbon. The oak overwhelms this one. I’m not sure that aging an IPA is a good idea anyway, in oak or anything else. But any beer that spends too long in oak, or is oak or bourbon flavored in some other way, risks overshadowing the characteristics of the beer. IMHO. madmitch76 (25801) - , Essex, ENGLAND - JAN 20, 2013

Hazy amber beer, small cream coloured head. A little crispy and dry. Bitter start! Bitter brett and bitter orange. This bitterness sits on a vanilla oak background. Finishes crisp with more bitterness. hangs together fine but easily the most bitter oak aged IPA I’ve had.
Bottle 65 cl. Courtesy of kristina. Pours golden with a slight haze and a small off-white head. Sweet and slightly oaky nose combined with some citrusy hops. Medium body, sweet and fruity, vanillaish oak but the bitter, citrusy hops seem to dominate. Dry and hoppy finish. Subtle and easy going. 220312 rlgk (18844) - Göteborg, SWEDEN - OCT 2, 2011
