Beer was dated using the mysterious secret decoder ring code. I knew it was old since it was marked down, but I took a shot anyway. Looked up the code: bottled March 24, 2015, so a year old. Keep this in mind in reading the review. Massive foam eruption on opening 4 of the 6 beers in the 6 pack, making a mess the first time in that it overlowed my Imperial pint glass. Aroma a mixture of fruit, vegetable, and bread, no hops. Super large thick, creamy, white head that recedes slowly. Hazy golden amber with heavy carbonation. Some small floaties visible. Good mouth feel for the pale ale style; excellent and thicker than expected for a low ABV pale. With lots of malt presence, the initial taste is fruit/vegetable with bread (like the aroma) sustaining through the middle, with a slight bittering asserting in the finish. Finishes dry and clean. The fruit/vege taste is front and center in this beer. It is not a citrus taste, but more of a melon taste combnied with green vegetables. Not unpleasant, but not standard for a pale ale. On the positive, this beer has substantial malt presence even though it is low ABV and billed as a session ale. Fresh, this probably would have been much better. mfhennig (285) - McHenry County, Illinois, USA - MAR 20, 2016
UPDATED: MAR 20, 2016 Not much going on here. Bought 2 bottles on a whim at $.75 each. My least favorite from them. ebone1988 (1966) - Dearborn, Michigan, USA - FEB 13, 2016
Aroma is malt, lemon iced tea, pine, tropical fruit. Appearance is amber golden, hazy, off white head. Taste is iced tea, pine, malt, citrus. Mouthfeel is light to medium body, crisp carbonation, tea bitter aftertaste. Overall, this is about what I expected, not great but very easy to drink. mjmoen (546) - - FEB 8, 2016

From can at ÖÖWF2015: Aroma is floral and light. Taste is semi sweet and caramelly, orange and grapefruit. A bit anonymous, but very good bitterness in the end. rubbishystuff (2537) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - NOV 17, 2015
Thanks to iNBe. Nice to see a low abv, full flavored but not over-hopped pale ale. Very sessionable. Serving: Bottle SiviS (40) - - NOV 13, 2015
Nice golden color with a nice citrus smell. The beer is smooth with a little bitter after taste. It is a nice use of Michigan hops. Martinus (4610) - Baarle-Nassau, NETHERLANDS - NOV 9, 2015

Tap at Busters. Very slightly hazy yellow-gold pour with a white dense head. Sweet malts. Mild citrus and floral nose. Citrus jumps out more on taste. Very sessionable. Good stuff.
