This beer has a golden colored body with a creamy white head. Its slightly sweet malt flavor makes up the base and offers a supporting role to the refreshing hop profile. Cascade hops provide a floral, citrus and almost fruity character to this well balanced easy drinking ale. Back by popular demand, Paleooza is an old favorite and an early original in our portfolio of great beers! 14

Very nice amber color, aroma of citrus and slight floral essense. Nice malt and hop balance, found the beer refreshing and quite a surprise. This was my first New Holland brew, I'll try more.

Draft. Golden body with frothy white head. Aroma of toasted grain, floral hops, grapefruit, citrus, light grass. The flavor is moderately sweet and lightly bitter. It finishes lightly to moderately sweet and lightly to moderately bitter. Medium body, watery/sticky texture, lively carbonation. Taste of light grapefruit and citrus with a lingering bitterness. Easy drinking.

Great tasting, but lighter pale ale. 4.4% ABV makes for a great session ale on a summer day.

Taster at The Mondial de la biere in Motral. The color is a hazy amber with a thin beige head. The aroma is of citrus fruits mostly oranges plus hops. The taste is as above plus some herbs and spicies with malt. It has a bit of a bitter finish.

Beer was dated using the mysterious secret decoder ring code. I knew it was old since it was marked down, but I took a shot anyway. Looked up the code: bottled March 24, 2015, so a year old. Keep this in mind in reading the review. Massive foam eruption on opening 4 of the 6 beers in the 6 pack, making a mess the first time in that it overlowed my Imperial pint glass. Aroma a mixture of fruit, vegetable, and bread, no hops. Super large thick, creamy, white head that recedes slowly. Hazy golden amber with heavy carbonation. Some small floaties visible. Good mouth feel for the pale ale style; excellent and thicker than expected for a low ABV pale. With lots of malt presence, the initial taste is fruit/vegetable with bread (like the aroma) sustaining through the middle, with a slight bittering asserting in the finish. Finishes dry and clean. The fruit/vege taste is front and center in this beer. It is not a citrus taste, but more of a melon taste combnied with green vegetables. Not unpleasant, but not standard for a pale ale. On the positive, this beer has substantial malt presence even though it is low ABV and billed as a session ale. Fresh, this probably would have been much better.
