Tap. Orange amber pour, thin to medium white head, not much lacing. Slightly sweet caramel aroma, some fruit and pine hops as well. Taste has a nice malt base, good bit of spiciness. Body is slightly sticky, average carbonation. alexsdad06 (10483) - West Chester, Ohio, USA - JUL 18, 2015
Draft to taster at the New Holland brewpub from notes. Pours a clear amber/copper color with a medium sized off white head. The aroma and flavor have caramel, toasted bread, some spicy rye character, mild to moderate citrus and earthy notes, decent but unexciting beer. I have not revisited this even though it is in bottles now. arkurzynski (2446) - Combined Locks, Wisconsin, USA - JUL 10, 2015
Red amber. Nose of fruity pebbles, rye spice, and caramel/toasted malt. Flavor has a nice piney citrus bitterness with some fruity toasted malt and some rye. Blanc is a little off, but overall solid.

Is this one old, perhaps? Slightly vegetal in aroma and taste. Drinkable and decent despite. Not worth bomber status. arminjewell (9688) - East Lansing, Michigan, USA - MAR 15, 2015
Pour out of 22 oz bottle, clear dark orange-red pour with white head, aroma brought notes of orange peel, lemon, nice rye notes into some bread, yeasty notes, some slight caramel. Taste was fruity, some citrus into a bit of lemon, some floral notes into rye, biscuit and bread, finishing bitter. Decent. hayduke (5572) - Eureka, California, USA - FEB 28, 2015
This bottle was courtesy of Strykzone. He sent it a couple years ago and it had been languishing on the top shelf of my beer cellar getting overlooked. Pours a rich amber with a good sized beige head the dropped quickly leaving light lacing. Nose of rye and floral hops. Medium in body, Spicy on the tongue. Flavor is dominated by the rye and the floral hops kind of get overwhelmed . Because I tool so long to drink this some of the hops may have faded. A lot of bitterness and the rye spice continues into the finish. Tasty. Nice.
