Not the best stout I have ever had. Probably would never buy again but had a strong taste and didn’t really stand out to me in a good or a bad way. IlanMan (1015) - Appleton, Wisconsin, USA - DEC 30, 2007
Poured a dark brown/black with a medium brown head. Not as much flavor as I would have expected from a stout. Tasted of light chocolate, coffee, grain. I wouldn’t go out of my way to buy again. Still not a bad beer at all. fordest (2469) - Santee/San Diego, California, USA - DEC 30, 2007
GABF 2007. Dark pour. Nice roasted malty aromas. Chocolate and coffee. Nice flavor too. Very roasty with decent dark fruit notes. Pretty tasty hrking (141) - Indianapolis, Indiana, USA - DEC 26, 2007
Had This on draft at Teller’s in Hyde Park a suburb of Cincinnati..If you have not had this on draft i highly recommend trying it on draft to enjoy the true beauty of this stout. Creamy sweet nice carmel roasted malt overtones. Gentle on the palette and easy to drink alcohol hidden very well and was an awesome choice with my steak dinner! mtjoseph (244) - Murderapolis, Minnesota, USA - DEC 23, 2007
Bottle. A light black/dark brown pour with a very small head that was gone instantly into a ring. Aroma of chocolate, oatmeal, roasted malt. A "light" tasting easy drinking stout. Heavier on the aroma than the taste. Enjoyable, but not much there really. Everything in the aroma is there, but its not very thick in the taste. Too thin for me. With the palate, you taste it an its gone. About it. Overall, its alright, but definitely not what I hoped for.

Pours dark dark brown with little head. Aroma of roasted malts, chocolate, and coffee. Easy drinking, pretty good stout. gearbike (512) - West Bloomfield, Michigan, USA - DEC 2, 2007
Black with no head. More chocolate than coffee flavor. Roasted malts with just a bit of a bitter finish. A bit thin. A nice complex easy to drink stout. alexanderj (3605) - Branson, Missouri, USA - DEC 1, 2007
Bottle picked up this summer; poured a dark, cola brown with a small to medium light brown head. Aroma of roasted malt,/coffee milk sweetness and hints of chocolate. Just slightly thin on the palate, but the palate was nice overall. Flavor had some light chalkiness in the finish. Flavor was a blend of chocolate, roasted malt, oats and sweetness. Easy drinking and solid brew. mcox90 (2159) - Wilton, New Hampshire, USA - DEC 1, 2007
12 oz bottle. Pours a medium brown with ruby highlights. Small tan head. Nose was of dry coffee. Slightly burnt. Mouthfeel was surprisingly light and dry for a stout. Flavor was mildly of coffee and oatmeal. This was an ez drinking light stout. NobleSquirrel (3439) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - NOV 30, 2007
A very easy drinkin, light stout. Deep and dark with a sweet mouth feel with the slightest hop touch. Quite drinkable and tasty.
