12oz bottle. White IPA. Hazy orange body. Big frothy white head. Zesty coriander aroma. This is an odd one, as it actually tastes like you mixed an IPA and a White ale. The herbs and spices are way overboard, and really dominate the beer in an unenjoyable fashion. Not horrendous, but not at all a quality example of the style. Instead of leaning into the smooth yeast tones, it has a harsh, medicinal, herbal thing going on. Not one Id seek out again.

from Mondial de la Bire 2013, Mulhouse - hazy dark blond beer with a modest foam left and some particles floating within; aroma of exotic yellow fruits, hints of coriander and other undefined spices; a good malt backbone, tasty and light sweet; long peppery and fruity finish - charming

Location: 12 oz bottle from Shop Rite, 11/2/13

Aroma: The nose is Belgian yeast, lots of spice, and some citrus/orange zest
Appearance: It pours a cloudy yellow color with a small, bubbly white head and drippy lace
Flavor: The taste is similar, with yeast and spice flavors, a little sweetness and a little bitterness
Palate: The body is light-medium, the feel leans soft, and it has a nice, dry finish
Overall Impression: This is a decent one. It has a decent look to it and pretty nice feel to it. The flavor is solid, but not exceptional. It is plenty drinkable, but it isnt a real favorite for me.

Draft at Mudville 9 NYC. White Belgian ale. Taste is like a white iPa with a lint of lemon. Very good ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

From the bottle. Pours a cloudy copper with a big white head. Yeasty aroma with citrusy hop notes. Nice witbier malt flavoring. Light IPA flavoring with a resin like aftertaste. Head coats the glass nicely. Overall good beer and interesting mix of styles.

Tasted from bottle. Color is a cloudy gold with white head. Aroma is sour yeast and citrus. Taste is lemon, grass, pine and floral hops. Mild sweetness with moderate bitterness. Medium bodied with average carbonation. I'd say this beer is average overall. It's a combination of a witbier and IPA and that just doesn't quite work for me. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
