3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
I poured this from a bomber into an imperial pint glass, foregoing my New Holland High Gravity Series tulip since it only holds eleven ounces and I was not sharing. It settles well, with a typical white ale cloudiness and pillow like white head. The aroma is mostly spice, coriander in particular, with resinous hop undertones. It is difficult to detect much else behind the strong spiciness, which also overwhelms the taste. The mouth feel is creamy and soft, presumably from the oats. While I do not plan to revisit this year’s edition, I may try it again next year in case the spice is dialed back.
Light citrus fruit with a hint of vanilla. Strong orange and coriander taste up front with a dry finish, but very approachable.

Smell of sweet orange, hop, floral and fainting yeast. Murky yellow orange with cream crown. Taste of bitter orange, hop, yeast. Light body. Agree with other. Feel like IPA than Belgium styled beer. JPDIPSO (6262) - Wauwatosa, USA - APR 30, 2017
Golden color with a moderate white head. Citric, hoppy aromas. Pale malt and some tropical fruit flavors. Seems to thin out in as it goes along with touches of cactus juice. Not a bad effort. 5/12

At first tried it cold and did not enjoy. Tried again at room temperature and was very pleasant. Nice hoppy citrus flavor followed out with fresh spices after. Gearz (84) - Maryland, USA - FEB 3, 2017
Refreshingly crisp with notes of clove, flowers, some orange zest and black pepper.
Wasn't expecting anything great but this is a really good, simple Belgian pale ale.

This wasn’t a bad brew just not what I was expecting. It leans more towards and IPA than a Belgian White. A bit too mush citrus taste kinda throws it off but overall a decent beer. bpar73 (1176) - Bellaire, Michigan, USA - AUG 5, 2016
Bottle. Slightly hazy orange pour with a white head. Taste and aroma of Belgian yeast and spices. Good stuff. b3shine (9072) - Indiana, USA - AUG 2, 2016
Draft to mini-snifter at the brewpub. Looks solid; a hazy pineapple with white head that steadily dissipates into lacing. Smells and tastes of grassy hops, Belgian yeast, and related esters. Mouthfeel is medium-bodied. Decent. drfabulous (8470) - Lexington, Kentucky, USA - JUN 29, 2016
Draught at Hop Cat. Notes of coriander and wit. Some big hops. Hazy color. Decent. Msdrbeat (780) - East Lansing, USA - JUN 24, 2016
On tap at New Holland. Spivey aroma. Pours a pale golden that is slightly cloudy. Lots of wheat. Not bad.
