3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Not a bad IPA but only average. Actually tastes like what I brew at home. Nice citrusy flavor but not very hoppy for an IPA. Aftertaste leaves a sticky feeling on the throat. Good first try but these guys can do better. Keep working on it!
UPDATED: OCT 12, 2017 Refreshing and balanced. Bright pine and citrus followed by a smooth grain finish. MrTipple (6991) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - AUG 15, 2017
Intense pine, resin, bittersweet citrus fruits, marmalade, orange peel. Slightly hazy gold, medium, creamy, white head. Medium bitter. More bittersweet citrus fruits, marmalade, orange peel, pine, resin, soft carbonation Clear medium bodied. Quite an intense IPA, punchy but just right. 473ml can. Light amber pour. Aroma is fruity and spicy, bit of dank. Flavor is plasticy, spicy, peppery, papaya.
Post tasting thoughts:
This one tasted better after going back through the cycles, a winner in a poorer competition.
16o, can, thanks to Bro in law Aaron.. Pours out a decent amber color with a moderate off white head. Aroma is of dry bread, light grain, Caramel, some fruity/citrusy hops. Taste is much the same, bread, old citrus, light caramel, grass, light Lingering bitterness. dmac (6577) - Toms River, New Jersey, USA - JUN 7, 2017
Tallboy undated can from Xroads. Poured a deep orange/amber with a smaller foamy suoer light beige head. Aroma/flavor is either old or boring. Notes of tea, super old dried out citrus rind, grains, earthy. Medium mouthfeel with softer carbonation and a quicker fading aftertaste. Meh...

Bottle. Nose heavy orange and tangerine, jammy and lightly musky, quite strong. Pour clear dull orange with a huge dense foamy beige head, but way overcarbed; when will these guys learn to carbonate their bottles properly? There’s just no reason for me to buy them. Taste medium-strong bitter, getting some Centennial-like floral character with lighter melon, just a touch rindy, more bitterness, light spice. I want to call it moderately dry but there’s just a touch too much sweetness for that. Full body, smooth but too crisp, airy, lacing. Clean, soft, does the job, and in the end, the taste is pretty darn good. [2017.01.31: 3.5] jandd1983 (4690) - Wentzville, Missouri, USA - DEC 11, 2016
On tap. It poured an orange color with a white head. The aroma was of lemon, honey, pine and hops. The taste was similar to the aroma with more citrus, pine hops and a bitter aftertaste. Really good. gripweed57 (2974) - Hamilton Square, New Jersey, USA - NOV 26, 2016
12 ounce bottle. Pours a hazy amber orange with a moderate rocky beige head. Fragrant grapefruit and pine aroma. Bittersweet hops upfront. Bready, caramel malt notes. Citrus and pine hops balance oot the sweet malt. Decent IPA. hopdog (13249) - Lansdale, Pennsylvania, USA - SEP 21, 2016
On tap. Poured a golden color with a smaller sized head. Citrus, grains and some caramel. jc1762 (1652) - Washington DC, USA - APR 15, 2016
Tap into a shaker showing moderately filtered caramel brown with spare white foam.
The nose shows clean pineapple and cannabis with light notes of pine resin.
The palate is light bodied and moderately carbonated. Flavors of light juicy pineapple and a very light bitterness on the finish. Fruit forward and easy drinking IPA.
