COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The Hudson is an American-style Pale Ale, with a bright, hoppy nose, smooth mouthfeel and quick, light finish. This represents a great introduction to the world of hoppy beers and should whet the appetite of true Hop Heads for what is yet to come.

Pours a clear rust orange with light white head. A light grain and malt aroma. A grainy and malty taste mostly of caramel. A malty and grainy afteraste.

On tap at the Edison Ale House. It poured an amber color with an off-white head. The aroma was of sweet caramel malts and some hoppy notes. The taste was similar to the aroma with more floral hops and pale malts. Not bad.

Draught. Faintly cloudy dark orange with very small frothy off-white head, faint citrus arima, low carbonation, lightly bitter malty taste, thin body, medium finish. Nothing exciting.

Tap into a moderately filtered caramel brown with sparse foam. The nose shows tea and biscuits; very similar to an English style Pale Ale. The palate is medium bodied and well carbonated to the point of foamy. Flavors of nutty peanuts and light biscuit with a slightly overpowering strong bitterness on the finish.

slightly cloudy, amber color; mild, floral hop aroma; might, bready malt with a sharp, acidic bite; piney hops; a bit of an off flavor; the way it foamed out of the bottle, I’d say this one was slightly skunked

Drank this from a twelve ounce bottle at Marley’s Gothem Grille in Hacketstown, NJ. Has hoppy aromas, but really good delicious flavor, I dont like pale ales but love this!

Der Geruch ist irgendwie merkwürdig, fast ein bisschen wie Babykotze. Geschmack leicht säuerlich, aber ok mit Hopfenaroma und relativ kräftigem, sirupartigen Malzkörper.

Geruch eher muffig. Im Geschmack dann eher säuerlich. Nur mäßig bitter, restsüß. Spannend, wenn auch kein Pale Ale.

Draught at Dinosaur Bar-B-Que, Newark, NJ
Cloudy golden color; compact head. Not much aroma, just a bit of malt. The malt flavor is light but decent; the hopping is strong enough, it carries a bit of resins, a hint of orange peel and chamomile, and a pungent touch.
Easy, clean, nice.

On tap at the brewery. Pours a hazed gold with a thin white head. Gentle citrus and crisp malt on the nose. Medium bodied, caramel and some hops, citrus into a quick crisp bitter finish.
