VTHopHead (1513) - Seymour, Tennessee, USA - MAY 25, 2011
Draft at Liberty Taproom and Grill - Poured a pretty orange-amber in color with a medium off white head that produced some minor lacing on the glass. Aroma is of both floral and citrus hops. Flavor is medium hoppy with some maltiness in the background. Finish is lingering and medium bitter. A decent IPA... tronraner (2459) - Walland, Tennessee, USA - SEP 6, 2010
Pint at TBonz, on nitro. Pours copper with a nice cascade of bubbles and a tight, creamy nitro head. The aroma is grapefruit, some sawn lumber, and a touch of earthiness. The flavor is mild grapefruity hops, some honey and raisin sweetness. A woody bitterness comes across in the finish. I was a little worried about this, as I like my IPAs bubbly, but the nitro worked out better than I expected. Smooth and actually tasty. NachlamSie (3581) - Denver, Colorado, USA - SEP 5, 2010

Pint at Liberty in Mt. Pleasant. Nitrogen IPA. What a terrible idea, though New South has somehow managed to pull it off well enough, considering. It is really weird to see a beer this color come out of the nitro tap and cascade down into an evenly shaped body with a creamy head. It’s like an orange Guinness. I can still get some hops in the modest aroma with some grass and wood. This is an expectedly smooth and inoffensive beer but not as bland as I feared. A bit of bite comes out here and there. Definitely a very different idea and makes for an alright session.

Light orangey, clear color; poured with a generous finger of pure white frothy cap of a head. Citrus-like hop aromas; hint of minerals; lightish malts. Lightly hoppy, even for the style it’s pretty tame; citric hop nature; rather middle of the road. Creamy and with soft carbonation (courtesy of the nitro tap), lightish and pleasing enough. Really a fairly bland IPA, and I wonder if this would have done better without the nitro.

Sample at charlotte octoberfest 2009. Nitro tap serving makes you wait a little while until you get to drink it. Unfortunately there is not much waiting for you at the end. A relatively flat and unassuming ipa. A little hint of pine and a bit of a buttery/creamy texture. SpringsLicker (3682) - Tennessee, USA - SEP 21, 2009

Light gold with a lasting off-white head.
Very light floral hop aroma.
Bitter with too little malt balance.
Neds a bit more malt and a lot more hops to balance this out.
Nitro tap at the Liberty Taproom in Myrtle Beach. Large creamy head over a clear orange body. Thick bands of lace after each swallow help make this a beautiful pour, courtesy of the nitro tap. Pleasing aroma with bits of citrus and pine, and a nice floral character as well. hints of honey and caramel round out the aroma. Medium body, gentle carbonation, mildly resinous palate. Honey like flavors up front, with the hoppy character coming on mid palate. Finishes with a nice crisp bitterness. A refreshing IPA, good balance, not overly assertive, but a solid performer. Draft. Frosty, lemon copper color. Frothy 1 1/2" head with slow dissipation. Hoppy, butter, light hint of bread, grains. Watery delivery slides off tongue, like the flavoring is running away. Boo, I say. Boo. brentfeesh (1216) - Mansfield, Ohio, USA - SEP 23, 2008
Sampled at Brewgrass 2008. On nitro. Yellow onion skin pour with a frothy head. Light caramel aroma with a touch of spicy hops. Very light. Very drinkable though. I’d go so far as to say an extremely easy drinking IPA with well balanced hops (earthy and citrus) as well as superb grain balance. Very smooth and creamy mouth feel (nitro?). While not a classic IPA, this has sessionable written all over it. You could drink this all day.
