First beer I’ve had from this upstart brewery in my homestate. Aromas are a bit dull but there is some chocolate and brown sugar in there. Flavor is a bit of the same but it seems a bit off. Can’t hate too much on a beer from a new brewery in a state that needs more microbreweries, but this one just isn’t that great at all.
Draft at the source. Pours clear amber brown with s thin white head. Light aromas of malt, brown sugar, cocoa. Flavors are roasted malts, toffee. Light bodied with fizzy carbonation. Very light style. Jabah (565) - Bethesda, Maryland, USA - MAR 20, 2017
Sampled at Art Burger in Myrtle Beach, SC. Ok malt content and balance. On the thinner side for a brown. Caramel and chocolate malts with just enough hops to cut down the sweetness. Like a lighter version of Cigar City Maduro brown which is the bigger one in FL. Not one I’d really return to, but good enough to try for sure. 12 oz can shared with Aurelius - thanks! Light copper pour, thin off-white head. Light nuttiness in the aroma. Cola - like flavor, some light nutty notes. Uneventful mouthfeel.

On tap at Liberty Tap Room in M.B. A light brow brew with a medium body and light nutty sweetness. Earthy-nutty finish. Shot (573) - Westerville, Ohio, USA - JUL 20, 2015
On tap at Burgerfi in North Myrtle Beach. Dark brown with a creamy beige head. Aromas of sweet malt and yeasty esters. Flavors are thin--brown sugar and yeasty esters that impart mild winey notes. Herbal hops and slight nuttiness. Ok, but not a memorable beer.

A thin beer but at low abv pretty good. A lot of carbonation. Nice lasting head. Sweetness and carbed. Decent beer but not worth a six pack.
