3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Draft at Shepherd and Knucklehead, Hoboken, 4/20/17.
Clean, lightly tart, lightly funky aroma. Bit of an acetic / vinegary type thing, but subtle enought that it doesn’t feel overdone.
Pours a murky, yellowish color with a ring of frothy white head that dissipates down to a ring and leaves some lighter streaks of lacework.
Funky, vingery finish.
Clean mouthfeel, tingly carbonation.
It is a really nice one for a one glass offering, but I’d have heartburn for days if I drank three or more.

On tap at the brewery. Pours a hazed gold with a medium sized white head. Soft acidity and musk on the nose, a light bit of citrus. Medium bodied, tasty and full of bright but gentle acidity. Tangy into the finish, lemon and musk.
