Reviewed from notes.
The appearance was a ruddy amber burnt color with a finger’s worth of white foamy head. Messy lace.
The aroma had some sweet Belgian sugars, light banana, some bubblegum, touch of earthiness, slight wood, low amount of citrus pulp and ended with a little bit of a herbal and cereal sort of features.
The flavor leaned towards the Belgian sweet side. Light spices entered in here. Slight Belgian sweet aftertaste and finish.
The feel was about medium bodied with a good sipping quality about it. Carbonation and ABV felt good.
Overall, pretty good Belgian strong ale, but I have to admit, spices didn’t really show enough pizazz in the aroma. I think I could come back to this. Ed5388 (3488) - Forked River, New Jersey, USA - MAR 22, 2014
On tap at the brewery. Pours a clear amber color with a small foamy white head. Aroma of caramel malt, grape skins, Belgian yeast and spices. Taste is super sweet. Lots of sweet fruit, Belgian yeast, spices, and candid sugar, and caramel malt. blipp (10120) - La Mesa, California, USA - MAR 22, 2014
Draft at Pony Bar. Pours orange amber with an off white head. Yeasty Belgian fruity notes up front, faint spices and peaches, and medium sweetness. Pretty good. jredmond (8965) - New York, New York, USA - FEB 26, 2014
Draft at pony bar HK. Pours a hazy amber with thick white lacing. Aroma and flavor are dominated by yeast and candy sugar. Wow, one dimensional and I guess not a horrible thing if you’re looking for that "Belgian candy" ale. snoworsummer (6407) - baltimore, Maryland, USA - DEC 28, 2013
Draft at the brewery. Pours hazy copper with a bubbly white head. Smells like yeast, wheat, sugary fermentation, and light herbs. Tastes like yeast, fermenting grapes, wheat, and very sweet malt.

On tap at the Mill House Brewing Company. Sweet and fruity deliciousness, a great Belgian ale. beerscout (298) - New Windsor, New York, USA - DEC 9, 2012
Tap. Sampled this lovely brew at the brewery. Glad I enjoyed a small bit, a few ounces, as it is a high abv. Very syrupy smooth for a tap beer. Deep peach color, and foamy off-white head. Aroma was very estery, and the sugary notes are warm. Flavor was well blended in sugar, fruit, and malts. Bitter finish that lingers warm and soft. Very nice. Stormkinghiker (24) - - NOV 12, 2012
This little beer packs one hell of a wallop. This is most definitely a sipping beer. A full flavored beer.

On tap at the Newburgh Brewery. Pours a clear amber with a thin white head. Big chewy yeast, candy sugar, toasty malt. Sweet, big yeasty phenols. Not boozy at all, but there is a nice warming alcohol coming through, very smooth and toasty. Nice toast and warm yeast, long yeast filled finish with a gentle bitterness.
