An undiscovered gem of an IPA, truck loads of hops in aroma and flavor, a bit off in color, slight haze as you might find in other hop bombs. Better in my opinion than Heady. MaBeer1972 (2059) - Reno, Nevada, USA - MAY 12, 2013
UPDATED: JUL 28, 2013 On tap at Sunset Grill. Served in a pint glass. A frothy off white head on this murky light amber brew. Strong hop aromas. Floral and spice. Plenty of bitterness. Body on the heavy side, but still very enjoyable. A good pick. Re-rate. 6-pack canned. Now available at Julios. Fantastic! Pucker up with this one. Definately not a "starter" IPA! skibumphishead (259) - Massachusetts, USA - JUN 13, 2013
pint draft at Plan B in Springfield. This was at the top of the list and I had never seen it before. Wow. the aroma is straight up citrus with a hint of ganja. The aromas were strong and the flavor was soft. The carbonation was light, and this made it very drinkable. Where can I get a 6-pack of this tasty beer? johnnnniee (4312) - Bedford, New Hampshire, USA - APR 28, 2013
Pours a fairly clear medium golden color with a huge beige head that takes forever to recede. Huge hop aroma invades my nostrils as soon as I crack the tab on this bad boy. Grapefruit pith, pine resin, bits of garlic and green onions make up the nose. There might be some malt deep underneath, I can’t find it but I don’t really miss it. I do find a hint of bread and caramel in the flavor but like the nose the hops rule here as well. Bitter citrus with pine tar and resin. along with strands of green onion make up most of the flavor. Lingering hop bite festers on the palette long after each sip. Firm hop bitterness helps this beer live up to its motto of a beer that bites you back. Medium body with a moderate level of carbonation and a lightly bubbly deeply resinous mouthfeel. Damn I wasn’t expecting that at all from an upstart in Massachusetts! Great IPA that is going to end up in every box I send out in trades.

From the tap and in to can shaped pint glass. Hazy, dark copper color with one finger thick head that left great lacing. Excellent grassy, and citrus hop aroma. Smooth malt initial taste, then moves quickly to grapefruit and resin hop taste that dissipates quickly. Low carbonation gives extra smoothness. Liked this brew a lot and will seek this out again - great work! therig (4) - - OCT 23, 2013 does not count
hoppy assertive almost sweet nice finish. A nice local brew. Has a kick not a s heavy as Heady Topper something to sip thornecb (5912) - Marblehead, Massachusetts, USA - MAY 1, 2013
Pours deep amber into a shaker. Tan head with good retenion recedes to coat surface. Sweet citrus and resin aromas. Dark caramel and tropical fruit upfront turning to deep dank resin in the lasting finish. AirForceHops (7239) - Epping, New Hampshire, USA - MAY 11, 2013
Draft @ Sunset grill. Looks like muddy river water with a thick layer of foam that laces all the way down. I have to use the cliche it tastes and smells very "green". Lots of leafy "green" hops. Floral, grapefruit and a touch of pine can be found here. Lingering bitter finish hangs with you for a nice duration. Resin shows up a ton as it warms. Texture is oily. I could drink a few of these if I was in the right mood. It’s an IPA that should be received well. Pretty darn good! DylnThmsn (6) - Worcester, Massachusetts, USA - AUG 3, 2013 does not count
Now we belly ache that it’s too hoppy! I guess haters are gonna hate. For me, this is as good as any of the East Coast (West Coast style) IPA’s! A homerun for all the Green Heads out there! Prost!
