Named after the ship all can see in the historic dockyard in Portsmouth, this golden ale without a head is bland but drinkable. Little aroma although has a fruity aftertaste that pleases. dogbomb (1239) - ENGLAND - FEB 8, 2013
Cask. Cloudy light gold. Decent white head. Powdery fruit smell - a little mango, a little tangerine. Quite light in the mouth with a touch of sulphur to start which goes right up the nose, some tropical fruitiness as on the nose and a malty base in the finish. A little bland, but an ok session beer.

Cask at the Old Manor (JDW), Bracknell. Bright amber with a scummy off-white head; aroma of grain and citrus; sweet fruity taste with a grainy body; then lightly bitter, leaving a biscuity finish. A reasonable Golden Ale but rather on the sweet side. FatPhil (16689) - Tallinn, ESTONIA - JAN 25, 2012

Gently fruity hops. Otherwise pretty dull. The hops are the only thing that save it from mere adequacy, and they barely do that. A rather simple beer.

Cask, Queen’s Head, Chelmsford. Awesome hoppy aroma, US hoppage, golden colour, light particles, tangy grapefruit, sweet malts, creamy, oily, so smooth to drink, really refreshing adaptation of the us hop in an English bitter. Really impressed. anders37 (26845) - Malmö, SWEDEN - FEB 14, 2010
