Clear light to medium yellow orange color with a small, fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, white to off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted, moderate hoppy, citrus, lemon. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is flat. [20090803]

Cask in the market porter. Alround rating: Pale and honey sweet malt, lemon and grassy hop, floral small lavender character comes through. Fairly clean and drinkable stuff.

Fruity taste with notes of citrus, tropical fruit and a generous grassy bitterness in the finish. Medium body, balanced sweetness. Nice and refreshing golden ale.

(The Edgar Wallace, cask) Pale yellow color, small creamy white head. Citrusy-hayish cat pee nose. Caramel sweetness, citrusy lemony hops, citric finish. Sweetish hoppy ale. Quite nice.
