12 oz. bottle from Wilbur’s. Appearance: two fingers white head, golden yellow color, clear, Aroma: molasses, barnyard, cereal, light floral. Palate: light-medium body, average carbonation, lasting light bitter finish, slightly dry. Taste: nice molasses sweetness into a slight tannin bitterness that lasts for a few seconds. Overall, sort of impressed, very drinkable, nothing special, but a good drinking beer. CanIHave4Beers (4224) - Pouring Bus, Iowa, USA - APR 17, 2014
Pours a perfectly pale straw color with a respectable head and nice lacing on the glass.dliberto (217) - Hampstead, Maryland, USA - APR 16, 2014
The aroma is just really pretty grainy with some light breakfast cereal sweetness. It’s lightly fruity, but it’s really nothing especially inviting.
The flavor is a bit nicer than the aroma, it’s got some zippy hoppiness & a whole lot of doughy & grainy malt character. It’s lightly peppery and the sweetness isn’t out of line. The grainy character throws everything off though, I do wish that was toned down a notch.
"Also wish for more alcohol... 4.4% = low boost."
Drank from bottle. Smells of grain and hay. Taste is sour for a blonde. Not a fan PhillyBeer2112 (2894) - Oviedo, Florida, USA - APR 9, 2014
This beer isn’t a bombshell, but my wife did drop a small bomb on me when I was drinking. Only that she wanted to buy a new coffee maker despite the current one being perfectly fine. That plus we were down to our last $100 and this thing cost $50. I’m like - hey let’s wait, we have to make this money last 10 days! But we got the coffee maker anyway. This pale, lightly grassy, mostly boring blond ale did nothing to make me feel better. BadAprilia1000 (437) - Sevierville, Tennessee, USA - APR 7, 2014
Pours a clear golden color with a decent white colored head. Aroma is pungent hay, maybe a slight honey, and a lot of skunk. Taste is the exact same, very unpleasant. One of the worse beers I’ve ever had, would pour it down the drain if it didn’t contain alcohol. Each and every note not only doesn’t taste good, it actively works against the palate tasting badly.

Aroma is grains, fruit and mild oxidation/earthiness. The flavor is nutty malts, fruit, citrus and a mildly tart finish. Drjohnrock (841) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - JAN 24, 2014
Twelve ounce bottle from Western Hills Kroger, tasted on June 1, 2013. Medium gold/amber color, medium white head, pungent aroma reminiscent of Little Kings Cream Ale with some fruit thrown in, pungent flavor that’s like a pale lager with an attitude, bitterness not that enticing. A disappointment after trying Newcastle Werewolf. 5000 (6862) - Hardened Liver, Washington, USA - JAN 2, 2014
Bottle:   Bright straw, light carbonation, small foamy white head, little lacing.   Soft malty nose, some soapy straw/hay as well.   Mealy start, a little buttery.   Otherwise soft straw/hay.   Body and mouthfeel are moderate, but leans thin.   Actually, this one seems thinner than others.   Snoozer of a finish.   Boring, so boring. Review sample. Has that slightly sugary smell I get with a lot of blond ales, but this is also upfront with some earthy English hops. Look is just fine, a clear golden yellow ale with a stiff finger-width head. Taste is, luckily, drier than the usual blonde ale. English hops stay at the front, making this largely a lighter version of a session bitter. Nice carbonation helps deliver points of hop bitterness. Full taste for a slighter lighter beer.
