I haven’t had this in a while, I didn’t remember it being so watery and pale. It doesn’t really have a huge intense earthy flavor, but it is a smooth brew, you can definitely line these up at a barbeque or something. I guess the biggest compliment I have is that its the only beer my mom will drink (maybe 2 a year).

Clear copper beer with very small beige head. Aroma is sweet malts, caramel. Taste is sweet malty and metallic. Nice beer but without special character.

Copper colored, small beige head. Sweet aromas with caramel, malt and nuts. Sweet taste with caramel and bread. Easy to drink, mediocre.

550ml from bottle bought at Lidl. Brown ale, very commercial, and hence soft and weak character. Drinkable, and problably better than most lagers, so I good alternative for a similar price

It's about as basic of a beer now a days as you can find. Years back it used to be special and unique but the flavor has come and gone since the craft breweries have popped up everywhere ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle at Facebook in Menlo Park, CA. Aroma is caramel, banana candy, slight molasses. Taste is thin, clean, light malty syrups. Aroma is interesting but the flavor is lacking.

Pours dark amber with a small head that recedes. Malt and some skunkiness on the nose. Taste is malt and grain with an element that’s difficult to define but is a definite characteristic of this beer. It’s watery but still enjoyable. This is not a perfect beer, but it’s a legendary beer. Canny.
