We conducted a blind taste test with this beer and 5 other brown ales to objectively determine which one was best. The 5 beers were: Samuel Smiths Nut Brown Ale, Lost Coast Downtown Brown, Big Sky Moose Drool, Newcastle Brown, and Wychwood Hobgoblin. You can view the video here: http://youtu.be/oz0hSSylY70

Pours clear brown. Aroma is metallic and spicy. Taste is quite smooth, creamy, malty, nutty with a spicy aftertaste. Not bad, best drunk warm, not cold as the bottle tells you to

UPDATED: NOV 3, 2016 Clear amber brown with a medium beige head. Rather bready aroma along with some weak herbal hoppy notes and hints of caramel. Light balanced taste, carbonation sourness being the most distinctive feature. Medium to high carbonation, watery body.

12 Oz bottle. Pours brilliant clear brown with an off-white head and mild lacing. Aroma of cereal grain, some cherry. Flavor is mellow, some brown sugar and very slight baby hop linger. Thin body with a watery mouthfeel. Overall, not so great. Used to like those beer when I was younger..

Kolor ciemny bursztynowy Piana srednia drobnopechezykowa . Bardzo slaby aromat trudny do okreslenia po opadnieciu piana wyczuwalny slod. Srednai goryczka w kierunku slabej. W smaku nic specjalnego. Piwo nie zachwyca. Ale tez nie rozczarowywuje. Moza wypic bez wiekszego wysilku.

500ml bottle. Pours dark mahogany with an off white foamy head which dissipates quickly. The aroma is sweet malt, roasted notes and faintly metallic. The taste is light/medium sweet and light bitter, grassy on the finish. Not bad really considering the moderate ABV, a wee bit watery but quite a pleasant taste.

Some banana in nose and mouth. Light toffee taste and hardly any bitterness but a little astringent. Commercial and just a notch over boring

12oz bottle 10/22/16 (Mix 12pk)-46 in Shaker-Pours brown with a small tan head. Aroma of malt, biscuit, and caramel. Taste of the same with a bit of metallic on the back end. This light to medium bodied brew is OK but still a bit lacking.

Pours light brown. Malty and biscuit aromas. Taste is rather watery with some bread and malt. Not very exciting but easy to drink
