3.4
bhensonb (15253) - Woodland, California, USA - NOV 21, 2013
Bottle from Total Wine in Sacramento, CA. Pours dark ruddy copper with a creamy beige head. Aroma of malt, light stone fruit, perhaps grass. Med body. Flavor is chocolate, moving on to light fruits with something like Earl Grey grass. Hay. Somewhat uncommon flavor here. Drinks nicely. Keep thinking Earl Grey. It’s fairly dry, and towards astringent.

Tmoney99 (14506) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - DEC 28, 2013
Bottle. Poured clear dark brown color with an average frothy tan head that was mostly lasting with good lacing. Moderate floral hop and sweet malt aroma. Medium body with a smooth texture and soft carbonation. Medium sweet flavor with a medium sweet finish of moderate duration. Soft drinkable beer.

2.5
Drake (13744) - Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA - JAN 1, 2014
12 ounce bottle, 12/5/13. Pours a clear dark brown color with a thin fizzy white head. Fair head retention. Aroma of dark malts and tart stone fruits. The taste is chocolate malts, clay and mild fruits. Thin and watery. Meh.

2.5
hopdog (12584) - Lansdale, Pennsylvania, USA - NOV 19, 2013
12oz bottle. Poured a brown color with amber tints and a small sized off white head. Aromas of potted soil, some fruitiness, and toasted caramel. Tastes of chocolate, lighter fruitiness, and lighter roast.

slowrunner77 (12060) - Reno, Nevada, USA - OCT 21, 2014
pretty close to as advertised in the brewer’s descripstion, but light all sorund, enough to not be too interesting. Not bad, though.

2.9
deyholla (11628) - Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA - FEB 11, 2014
On tap at Tapwerks. Pours near black with a creamy light brown head that lasts through out the beer and laces. Aroma has notes of thin earthy grains with a bit of musty chocolate. Flavor is thin as with sweet grain, light chocolate and earthiness.

3.3
shrubber85 (11415) - Greenville, Indiana, USA - JAN 18, 2014
Bottle. Light coffee, chocolate, and raisin malt aroma. Dark brown with nice head. Nutty chocolate malt and light herbal flavor. Body on the lighter side. A nice Mild - really wish Milds would gain more of a foothold in the states.

2
DocLock (10706) - Lower Pottsgrove, Pennsylvania, USA - APR 4, 2014
Bottle from Capone’s. Pours hazy chestnut with 2-finger tan head. Nose is nuts, cacao, caramel, hops. Tastes nutty, with some caramel, cacao, and a medium to light finish with light palate heft. Like an overly perfumed crack whore, this one looks good, smells much better than it tastes, and sucks, but not unless you pay for it first.

1.9
cubs (10636) - Fort Collins, Colorado, USA - JAN 31, 2014
Bottle @ home, picked up at Wilbur’s Fort Collins. Pours a reddish brown appearance with a brown head. Caramel, slight soy sauce, chocolate, a bit metallic aroma. Some more metal in the mouth. Slightly charred, burnt sugar / caramel, and doughy flavor. A hint of coffee. Moderate bitterness. Kind of bland. Not good.

2.9
BVery (10516) - Plymouth, Minnesota, USA - DEC 8, 2013
Bottle. Nice looking clear deep reddish brown pour with a small frothy beige head. Grain, mild toffee, mild chocolate, slight roast. Not too bad.
