Bottle from Total Wine in Sacramento, CA. Pours dark ruddy copper with a creamy beige head. Aroma of malt, light stone fruit, perhaps grass. Med body. Flavor is chocolate, moving on to light fruits with something like Earl Grey grass. Hay. Somewhat uncommon flavor here. Drinks nicely. Keep thinking Earl Grey. It’s fairly dry, and towards astringent. Tmoney99 (15118) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - DEC 28, 2013

Bottle. Light coffee, chocolate, and raisin malt aroma. Dark brown with nice head. Nutty chocolate malt and light herbal flavor. Body on the lighter side. A nice Mild - really wish Milds would gain more of a foothold in the states. BVery (11458) - Plymouth, Minnesota, USA - DEC 8, 2013
Bottle. Nice looking clear deep reddish brown pour with a small frothy beige head. Grain, mild toffee, mild chocolate, slight roast. Not too bad. DocLock (11189) - Lower Pottsgrove, Pennsylvania, USA - APR 4, 2014
Bottle from Capone’s. Pours hazy chestnut with 2-finger tan head. Nose is nuts, cacao, caramel, hops. Tastes nutty, with some caramel, cacao, and a medium to light finish with light palate heft. Like an overly perfumed crack whore, this one looks good, smells much better than it tastes, and sucks, but not unless you pay for it first. DuffMan (10751) - the land of bitumen, beef & beer, Alberta, CANADA - FEB 23, 2014
Bottle. Medium brown, medium off white head. Low aroma of cocoa and tea. Flavour is dry cocoa and caramel, insipid and watery. A lackluster, thin mild ale.
