Interesting beer. I had this while on vacation in Cocoa Cocoa Beach FL. I got it on tap and is was x10 better then regular NewCastle. Summerish, Smooth, Gorgios beer with a great sweet aroma. ganache (6056) - New Jersey, USA - SEP 25, 2010
Bottle before the Zips game. Light citrus and pale malt nose. Taste is surprisingly bitter for something so weak with light cardboard and slight pepper overtones. Medium, bland body. Disappoints, even on a hot day, which is hard. As for the hype, the overemphasis on hops in the marketing does this beer a disservice, because there aren’t really any here. weitz15 (595) - Nashville, Tennessee, USA - SEP 16, 2010
Golden pour, white head. Off-citrus scent, but not much flavor to back this one up. Pretty smooth palate, with mild hop content. Block (3183) - Indianapolis, Indiana, USA - SEP 15, 2010
Gold pour with a white head. Aroma of spice and pale malts. Smooth body. Some hobby and spice. Sweet finish. presario (4925) - Stampede City, Alberta, CANADA - SEP 2, 2010
"Beer of the month" tap selection at Red Door in Seattle. I liked it. Amber. Thin white head and lacing. Fruity melon aroma. I found a contrasting hop note that cut through the floral flavour. A tasty Golden Ale.

Tap at Mackey’s in DC. Poured a clear, light amber with spotty white lace remaining from a thin head to begin with. Caramel, Worcestershire sauce, slight bitter hops in nose. Taste is soapy, laundry detergent, Worcestershire sauce. Drain pour status if served in my home. NateBarnett (75) - Augusta, Georgia, USA - AUG 18, 2010
Aroma: citrus, bread. Appearance: amber with a minimal head. Taste: light and watery. Palate: light body with average carbonation. Unfortunately, not an enjoyable beer. mcjay (463) - Neenah, Wisconsin, USA - AUG 16, 2010
Pale yellow color with a foamy white head. Mild grainy aroma with a hint of hops. Slightly over hopped and bitter taste with high carbonation. dwyerpg (6410) - Las Vegas, Nevada, USA - AUG 14, 2010
Doesn’t smell the best, a bit of butter perhaps. Looks nice. This is pretty easy to drink, with a good flavor. Nothing aggressive here, but this beer is one that could certainly convince people to branch out a little more, as it’s from newcastle and is quite respectable. troopie (2439) - Munchen an der Willamette, Oregon, USA - AUG 11, 2010
Bottle. Poured pale clear yellow with thin lasting head. Little lacing. Pleasant faint aroma, summer grass. Light body, light malt flavour, a bit of breadiness. Rather thin finish. This is not a bad ale, bur merely ordinary.
