Smells just like Newcastle Nut Brown Ale mixed with coffee. Tastes just like Newcastle Nut Brown Ale mixed with cherries. Okay beer. Very middling beer - not good and not bad.

Bottle pour is tobacco brown with quick foam with little head. I wasn?t expecting a raspberry aroma. Some liquorice. Very watery body. Tastes flavored and has no real umpf. dlihcsnatas (745) - Temple, Texas, USA - OCT 28, 2014
Amber brew with no head. Smelled of roasted malts and seemed inviting but the taste ruined it all. Did have a bit of roasted flavor but also tasted a bit like a cola. Even went down about like a cola, one that comes in a 2 litre bottle and was opened about 3 days ago. Yep, think i nailed it right there. It started as a plastic bottled cola and was opened, put into beer bottles, and shipped to the USA. Watered down garbage that doesn’t even live up to being worthy of such a creature as a werewolf. Should have named it Rabid Chuwahwah. beerguy00 (186) - Fountain Valley, California, USA - OCT 28, 2014
Pours a brown color with a very light tan head. Aroma is a bit nutty with some malt notes. Flavor matches with the addition of some more roasted flavors and a bit of spice. Seemed just like a darker, slightly more spiced version of the brown ale. wedgie9 (2702) - Nashville, Tennessee, USA - OCT 28, 2014
Tasted on 10/27/14 from a capped 12oz bottle purchased at the grocery store. Pours clear bright amber with an average beige head that slowly recedes to thin lace and an average collar. The nose is lightly nutty bread with some caramel, mostly malt focused, with a light hint of spicy hops. The flavor falls a bit short of the classic ESB nose, with a bit more caramel malt, and no real discernible hops. The body is light with average, fizzy carbonation, and a short malty finish.

On tap, poured a clear brown hue w/ a medium foamy white head. Mild sweet aroma. Initial flavor is bold sweet w/ a light bitter finish. Tastes are roasted marshmallows and sugar. Light bodied and watery mouthfeel.

I had this beer on draft at the Tilted Kilt in Kenosha, Wi. This beer has a nice, clear deep copper color and the aroma has a slight berry scent mixed in with toasted barely. The taste is very malty with strong malt and malt tones throughout, mixed in with hints of raisons and a very perceivable burnt toast character. There is a strong bittering character to the beer, but this bitterness is more associated with the astringent bitterness you get from roasted malts than from hops. Overall this is a decent beer that lacks anything to make it stand out from comparable beers in this style. rosenbergh (11532) - Tampere, FINLAND - OCT 15, 2014

Clear copper brown colour with a tiny off-white head.
Nuts, wood, caramel malt and some mild bitterness in the aroma.
The flavour is mild bitterness, nutty dryness and some caramel maltiness. Watery.

This was surprisingly good. Initial pour I got a whiff of berry. Once in the glass the smell was pretty muted. Light brown with reddish tint. A white head that contrasted drastically with the body but quickly disappeared with a thin lacing. There is a berry presence followed by a malty back and floral hops (but not bitter at all). It is a little watery. I got this on sale and for that price I would get it again. This is a light drinking beer, and not usually my style - but I quite enjoyed it.
