Something had to be #600 for me, and this is it. Aroma is of bakery and bourbon. Beautifu dark red w/beige head. Foam lasts a good long time with some light lacing on the glass. Flavor is a bit unusual. Bready but flat. Overall this is one of the best reds out there. Bottle at my sisters house. beertholomeus (1813) - California, USA - NOV 8, 2013
Pours a clear copper color with a slightly off white head. Malt, caramel, biscuit and slight hop aroma and flavors. Lively carbonation and light body. Biscuit finish. samsmith33 (772) - - NOV 26, 2013
Aroma Is rye, toasted malt, caramel. Dark brown color. Small white head. Taste is a little bit off ash with other flavors in aroma. Thin beer, refreshing; little carbonation. I see the marks state mot so high for thus, but I kind of like it. badpuppy69 (321) - orange, California, USA - APR 4, 2014

Poured from bottle into a pint glass
Appearance –Pours a light brown color with a billowy two finger off white head. The head has very nice retention but fades over time to give a good level of lacing.
Smell – The aroma is sweet and roasted. It has a nice dark fruit aroma of cherry and some caramel as well as a roasted malt smell.
Taste – The taste starts roasty. There is a lighter sweetness associated with the front of the taste. The sweetness is mainly of a caramel nature. As the taste advances some roasty and bitter hop flavors come to the tongue and diminish some of the sweetness. While the sweetness is overall lessened, some light dark fruit flavors come to the tongue. In the end a rather smooth and moderately roasty flavor is left on the tongue.
Mouthfeel – The body of the beer is on the thinner side with a carbonation level that is rather average. A bit of a heavier body may have suited the flavor profile a bit better, but for the abv at 4.5% and the moderate carbonation it did make it more refreshing.
Overall – A very nice affordable and good session brown ale. It had a good flavor as well being rather refreshing.

Nice dark amber color with a small short lasting white head. Hints of sweet fruit get attacked by a bitter lingering hop flavor. Supplemented by caramel, and roasted malt. I like it.

This bottled brew from a bottle shop poured a small sized head of foamy finely sized tan colored bubbles that were mostly diminishing and left behind a softly carbonated transparent light orange brown colored body and a good lacing. The mild aroma was brown malt. The mouth feel was tingly at the start and at the finish. The nice flavor contained notes of dark malt caramel and a good amount of hops. A decent quaffable one that I would consider buying again. jb (3253) - Rochester, New York, USA - DEC 26, 2012
Nice and dark with orange highlights. Very much of a roasted malt presence in the nose and palate. Deep caramel/heath bar taste. Creamy then gritty mouthfeel. Really tasty session stuff. leah2974 (453) - Georgia, USA - JAN 16, 2013
Medium-light bodied, some astringency. At colder temperatures, there’s a slight whiskey quality. Flavors mellow and fall somewhat flat as it warms. Sledutah (7534) - Utah, USA - APR 5, 2013
